Nice suggested this name yesterday when the Zach Miller rumors started popping up. A little long in the tooth but still can do the job.

1.) You're right, but you can't just say HEY! We drafted these two guys, no need to address it any further! That's what everyone seems to want to do here.

2.) Disagreed, and I guess that's all I can say because it's a matter of opinion. He's been a #2 for us, he's been a slot guy for us. I think he was FAR better in the slot. Especially coming off injury, we have no clue how his body will react.

Things aren't as bad as we are making them out to be right now. If we bring in heap, a solid WR like James Jones, and re-sign Cromartie I think we will be in very good shape.

If there's one thing the Jets are desperate for, it's a tight end. /sarcasm

He's never been a good slot receiver for the Jets. He's always been at his best as the #2.

I would really like this signing, he caught 40 balls for 600 yards and 5 tds still productive numbers for a pass catching te

    I'm assuming he's a good blocker?

Rex seems to likes the guy watching him against his D in practice all those years . In Rex we Trust . Seems like he would come cheap too being a back up and all

Cotchery is in no way a slot WR.

I loved heap and hated to see him go. Great all around TE..pretty good blocker, great pass catcher(I know you guys remember that diving catch he made opening night last season lol). He'd be a good addition to any team, but it's almost a lock that he won't play every game. This guy has been plagued with injuries.

I really don't understand #2. He was rarely our #3 receiver and even more rarely lined up in the slot. His best years were as our #2.

I was really hoping we'd see something from Cumberland this season. I doubt the Jets carry four TEs again and Mulligan was a much better blocker.

If we get Heap I think we'll cut Mulligan if anything.

Some people can't differentiate #3 from slot. Oddly enough, Holmes has the best skill set to play in the slot.
