I don't think any corner in the league could defend that. That was just a dirty, dirty drive by Aaron Rodgers. He's a legitimate MVP candidate this year.
my first thought when he got burned deep. Then I chuckled when Greg Jennings torched him on the TD reception. Not surprised at all... Let's see brees do something impressive now. Because if he doesnt, the packers may kill the saints tonight.
This drive was screwed up by the Saints with that ridiculous play call on 3rd and 12...there wasn't a player besides the down linemen standing in front of the first down marker.
Packers are lucky not to get a flag thrown for a personal foul there, one of their guys just ran into the Saints player with the ball fully five seconds after he'd taken the knee.
The anthem is too long and too hard to sing and refers to an obscure part of our history. Other than that it is great.
I mean, thats obvious, but that play was the turning point of the drive...after that he wasn't gonna screw it up. He's the best QB in the league right now. Very small margin of error vs. these guys.
He's not perfect. I don't agree with Williams' call to drop eight into coverage, but he's not going to beat them on every third and long.
