Tell you what, pretty excited by what this kid will bring in the very near future. We all must keep in mind he is still learning and still adjusting to the speed of the pro game.. I hope to see Ellis final make it on the field soon, although I understand he is not as refined as Big Wilk.....
I was going to say that, but I'm sure when ellis was in his prime he was pretty athletic. I can't remember that far back.
It's a different era, 11 years is a long time in football. Players seem more athletic, especially big men like Mo Wilk and K Ellis.
Don't understand why this merits a comparison. Wilkerson is very, very good. Can't wait to see Kenrick Ellis start beasting out there as well.
This is something Grownkowski does routinely but right now he's enjoying all the angst we feel over the Casper.
Totally agree. I think the whole line is about a second away from vast improvement getting to the qb. You are not seeing what has happened the past 2 years...absolutely no movement towards the qb. The line is actually making the O lines move backwards. Unheard of since Rex took over. If that trend continues...the defense becomes a real threat. Not counting on bringing 6 or 7 guys every play is the key between this team being a very good defense..or a dominant defense. Really looking forward to seeing this growth hopefully continue.
Main difference is that Rex wanted Wilkerson while when the Ghost came out he thought he was a fraud. Unfortunately he had to inherit the Ghost and even though he tried the Ghost is called the Ghost for a reason.
The best way to describe it imo is he's Shaun Ellis 2.0.. similar players, similar style, but he's like the new breed of what Ellis was when he came out.
Shaun Ellis : 41 sacks 1 Pro-bowl and a clasic drag-off in a playoff game in first five years Would you be disappointed if Wilkerson matches those totals
Deathstroke, when I see your name as a thread creator, I get a big smile on my face. Your threads never ever disappoint, never. Keep up the good work!
