Im all for this being stopped once they stop making the rules so heavily heavily favor the passing game.

These games constantly going into high powered passing shootouts is making the rushing game and defense non existent.

All you got to do is turn on a Pats game and you might as well be watching (both teams) just a QB throwing passes to wideouts during practice.

    Since not much else happens

If it keeps happening I'm sure the rules committee will address it after the season.

    How though?

It could be a legitimate injury...You never really know when someone falls to the ground...

In this case, it was a clear since 2 morons went down...

But if one went down, how could you tell?

If the Jets did this, it'd be Sal Alosi incident part 2.

    Why do you say that?

One was a coach interfering with the game...

This occurs all the time in football...You've seen it plenty of times where a guy falls down to break the momentum of the other team....

    Your Sal Alosi doesn't not...

Rather than only having to sit out one play they could extend that to a set number of plays or a set amount of gameclock time. for people who can not leave the field under their own power. Or alternately they could extend the existing rule charging timeouts from the last two minutes of a half out to the whole game. Though personally I'd prefer the former.

The main problem I have is with Coughlin's retarded explanation and the Giants doing it in such a blatant manner. Flopping already ruins NBA games, we really don't need similar garbage for competitive sake.

That said Giants will probably finish 3rd or last in their division so they could fake all the injuries they want.

The only better thing would be if the entire D faked an injury at the same time, where during the snap count the squad drops en masse, grabbing their hamstrings as they cry out in sheer agony.

    Funny to watch.

He is saying the Giants are going to "put it to them" talking about the Eagles. He is hoping Vick plays.

I would rather have the player sit out the current offensive series and also the next one. Just to make sure that his injury isn't serious.
