We controlled the clock and ran the football up Chan Gailey's ass. Do you even know WHY the defense played so well?? Because the offense actually held up their own by scoring points and sustaining long drives. They were fresh all game. I'm sure if Sanchez could send you a written apology for throwing that Red Zone pick in the 1st half, he would.
Ok, get this through your head. With the talent we have on offense we "should" be a high octane offense. Do you not think Rex wants that or is it something Rex is having trouble attaining? I think you're basically admitting our offense sucks and will never be awesome. That's fine. Am I not free to criticize the Jets for their offensive play regardless of how awesome their Defense or Special Teams play?
I completely understand WHY we won the game and HOW we won. But I'm telling you, the Jets did not WANT to win by failing to score fucking Touchdowns.
we should be a lot of things....but we're NOT! The offense is built to run the ball, use playaction, control the clock, and relies on precise execution of timing routes. That's reality. Mark's last name isn't Brees, Brady or Manning. Sorry to ruin your christmas. If you don't like it....you can join firemanedjr on the Giants boards.
Did we run the ball effectively? Did Sanchez make passes to move the chains? Did we have the second longest drive this season? Sure we didn't put up a td but our offense was out there keeping Fred Jackson off the field, and giving our defense a rest. It wasn't perfect but I'll take that over four consecutive 3 and outs any day.
My last post on this topic because you guys are idiots and I was bummed out about the offense like Rex was and there's nothing fucking wrong with that. Here's what Rex said, "The Jets were riding high after Sunday’s 27-11 victory against Buffalo, but coach Rex Ryan admitted he was “bummed out” when the offense squandered some of its early chances to take control." http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2011/11/jets_mark_sanchez_disappointed.html :shit:
Take away the defense and replace it with what? What an absurd hypothetical. They're part and parcel of the same team. We're designed to be a team that relies heavily on its defense. And there's a difference between "having problems" and being "craptastic". Of course the offense has problems. Everyone here has admitted that openly. They still had a very good 2nd half. You're cherry picking drives, which will eventually lead you to the conclusion that nearly every offense in the league is "craptastic".
I will tell you, you can take some of the most retarded opinions on that gay get together site called, finheaven and have them take the Pepsi challenge with Pluvrr saying the offense was awful. It is going to be close.
Do you think the rest of us disagree with Rex? We all hated those drives. Rex didn't comment on the offense as a whole, nor did he appear to judge the entirety of offensive play by those drives. Only you did.
you have the comprehension of an anus if you actually interpret Rex's comments to be that he was bummed out about the offense rather than what it states rather explicitly -- that he was bummed out about squandering opportunities early.
If this guy really is a lawyer, I hope he's a defense attorney. Pluvrr: keeping the streets safe with good ol' ineptitude.
Everyone was pissed they didn't score on their early drives. We were pissed because the offense was looking great until they shot themselves in the foot. The fact that you can't differentiate between two guys making shitty mistakes and the offense looking terrible is disturbing.
On the bright side, it looks like Pluvvr struck out on his dating site, so he will likely not reproduce.
Pluvrr most definitely did not watch the game. He wasn't whining uncontrollably in the IGT like usual. He probably put on ESPN, listened to the analysts bitch that our offense "sucked" in the first half and only put up 3, and came here to spew his "wisdom" to us uninformed folk.
Jeez...the offense made mistakes. But if you couldn't recognize how much more fluid the passing and running game were than previous weeks, you are blind. Also keep in mind prior years, how shitty the Jets looked coming off a bye week. Yesterday was a great confidence booster. _________________________________________ Also, the Jets made the 64 million dollar man look like he should look out there. Confused and resorting to QB draws up the middle when his receivers are blanketed and he panics.
