Mike Maycock somehow unfamiliar with Julio Jones. He called him a veteran wide receiver.

This is his 11th game, you know. Time to take the training wheels off, no?

So does Jacksonville draft Jones, Barkley or RGIII?

John Abraham has 3.5 sacks on the night. One of my favorite Jets of all-time, and a rather underrated player.

I don't think many underated hm, but rather got tired of the injuries and the unwillingness to play through them despite being cleared to go... in the playoffs.

While I loved his skill off the edge, we rreceived my current favorite Jet for Abe, so good deal IMO.

I wonder if the Jags will have 3 nationally televised games again next year.

Abraham deal did work out well, though.

He recently surpassed his Jets sack number with his Falcons sack numbers.

    Jets: 73 games, 53.5 sacks
Falcons: 84 games, around 60 sacks

He's stayed pretty healthy with Atlanta, aside from his first season there.

God what we would all do to see numbers like that on a pass rusher of ours

I'd say he is pretty damn underrated for being one of 25 players to reach 100 sacks. He was injured and protecting his future. I don't blame him.

every time i heard his name for a sack/fumble last night i thought geez what if.

cant complain though but still - why cant the jets just get/have that guy who u can pencil in for 12-15 sacks a year.

i know someone will say that mangold PREVENTS 12-15 per year so there.

    oh well

I can't think of anyone that was down on abe for his pass rushing abilities.

... and if your happy about a guy who's cleared to play not playing in the playoffs, your not much of a fan of your team. You want players who will sell out of the SB, not guys like that on a roster.

Cowboys look like they came to play. Of course, this is the first quarter.

I like the Cowboys a lil bit, hopefully they spoil the Giants season week 17.
