Dont they teach this in practice? How long does a QB need to hold the ball?...I cant even blame the flaming garbage that is Wayne Hunter...The whole Jets offense with its dinking and dunking mindset creates no opportunities down the field. Just a putrid game...Both times with the ball from the 50 yard line and 7 yard line to take this team to a game winning drive we have Sanchez running circles out there before either fumbling, dropping to the ground, getting ball batted due to dink/dunk. We have gone backwards on all that is known as a vertical game with Sanchez. Pennington 2.0
He keeps holding it hoping to make a play, in 09 and 10 he could hold the ball forever and somebody would get open enough for him to at least chuck it in his direction.
With Sanchez, Jets need to run (not pass) the ball 50 times per game to win. Sanchez is just not the type of passer who you can rest your fortunes on. He is still making awful rookie mistakes. It's a combination of lack of football smarts and lack of ability. Another lousy Jet First Round pick down the drain.
Ken O'Brien used to hold the ball long and get sacked an awful lot. But at least he was accurate and had an arm. What's Sanchez' excuse?
Ok guys remember when Rodney Pool came out of nowhere after Manning and he saw him immediately and got rid of the ball? When have you seen Sanchez do the same? He has absolutely no awareness it should be 8 or below in Madden. He is just a dumb Qb. Half the sacks each game are his fault for holding on to the ball to long. Good Qbs audible often when they spot the blitz not mr "elite". Good Qbs throw the ball out of bounds, sanchez very seldomly does. He either throws a pick or gets sacked or intentional grounds.
Did you watch the fucking game? I lost track of the horrible decisions/throws by Sanchez by the start of the second half. He could have easily had 3 interceptions this game. Jesus Christ even our fans are fucking idiots.
so you gonna compare third year Sanchez to veteran Eli manning? wtf kind of comparison is that?! Sanchez in his 3rd year is better than eli in his third year. get a grip
Nobody is open...BS routes. If you're a defense, you don't have to put one guy passed 20 yards because the ball will never go that far. You could essentially line up 7 guys 5 yards from the line of scrimmage and we won't be able to move the ball. Every pass is a dump to the middle of the field or a pass to the flats.
You just inadvertently proved his point. Wr cant get open and sanchez forces it in important situations. unrelated but holy shit there were a lot of drops
Not only drops but WR pulling out of routes . Don't forget not even looking back for the ball (looking at you Keller) . This offense just doesn't have that WR that gets in space and makes people miss . When was the last run after the catch . Cruz had more YAC today then we had all year
Eli got called for intentional grounding there. I know what you are saying, but you picked a very poor example
