Just fantastic stuff...They had a fucking philly ref out there who called penalties on both Callahan and the other guy while the guy literally hooked callahan in the face.

Wow...Then a penalty shot? get the fuck out...That is pure shit homerism.

Nevertheless, Lundqvist says fuck you Flyers

The grittiness comes from the young players, and the example set by the Captain himself.

The coaching is good. Its been good for the past two seasons with Torts. He's been preaching focus and discipline every game. He knows he has the players to win, he just needs to guide the ship home.

And it helps to have the best netminder in the league.

    This.

I've been tough on the Rangers the past few years but things are finally looking up. As long as the vets can keep up their level of play, we have a nice window. I can't wait to see what happens.

I don't think this can be in question anymore. Henrik has been a top goalie for the past few seasons and today is just another example of his unbelievable ability as a goalie.

What the fuck kind of homer officiating was that, Calli gets interfered/obstructed/hooked/high sticked and he gets a fuckin' penalty. Then give those assholes a penalty shot with 19 seconds left are you fuckin' kidding. Great job to finish them off despite the NHL's attempt to have the Flyers tie the game, what a disgrace!

The Captain leads by his example on the ice he had 11 hits yesterday. Hank is the best goalie in the league, I am convinced!

was that NBA reffing or NHL? they did everything they could to send that game to OT
and it backfired on all of their asses. I thought the rangers were getting boned all day on calls.
What a team!! they never give up, our coach won't let them.
This is easy to say afterwards, but once Rupp tied it, i knew they were gonna win. we have the better goalie.

That had to be one of the WORST call I ever saw. Callahan got hooked AROUND THE THROAT, and got called for grabbing and holding the stick for instinctively grabbing the stick and pulling it away from his throat.

That ref should be fined and suspended.

I am not yet ready to say that Lundqvist is better than Richter, but I can not recall Richter having one individual season as good as the year Henrik is having this year.

I was lucky enough to be there yesterday. Unbelievable. I have a modest, but decent list of memorable sporting events (to me at least), this was all together on another level. Insane.

I will not be surprised if Hank ends up owning every Rangers Goaltending Record and we see # 30 hanging in the rafters one day, especially if he brings us home a cup.

So Flyers owned by Comcast owner which now owns(?) NBC.

Yep, no conflict of interest there at all.

I remember when we all used to say "Hank deserves a better team"

He now has that better team.

This would put him past Richter for me, and Mike Richter is my favorite Ranger of all-time.

To be fair, Richter could have won the Conn Smythe in 94 and no one would have complained, he was that brilliant.
