Is this normal? This many needing offseason surgery? Starters no less. http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/20...tml?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed Did Sanchez ever get the recommended one on his throwing shoulder after last season?
No...like everything else with the Jets, its unique to them. No other team in the NFL sustained injuries to starters this year. And its all because Rex is fat and has a big mouth.
Eric Smith actually had his brain removed. He wasn't using it much anyway. This way, he's got less of a chance of getting a concussion.
It's normal for a lot of guys to get surgery in the off-season. What's unusual is for the news to all come out at once. It's like Tanny called the reporter and said "run this story about how banged up we were."
That may be more true then we think...it would never have gotten out unless Tannenbaum let it get out.
With a shortened off-season I expected mopre injuries to tell you the truth. I think these procedures are just some clean-up procedures and nothing major. Good thing they're doing them now so that the players can be 100% come training time.
Maybe they'll come back bionic. That would be sweet, but at $6 million a pop, it's a big investment. Mananananana . . . Mananananana . . . Mananananana
Good point. Odd timing for this news indeed. Especially, since every team has its share of banged up players going for surgery.
