Losing to Miami really hurt. I still thought we were going to sneak into the playoffs, but now all I have is that stupid ass Pepsi commercial.
tebow throws way toooo many short balls and balls in the ground vs what sanchez did the first two years. they both have the knack of pulling out late victories, but some of the throws tebow has made, i would think i would a starting highschool qb can make
The 2nd NE game was painful because it reinforced that the Jets weren't elite and that they would not win the division...again. The Denver game came right on the heels of that and was even more painful because of the way we choked and gave that game away to Tim Tebow!!
Denver. It's especially bad considering how badly the Jets could have used just one more win. I could live with the Giants loss since I actually am a Giants fan, as well (less than the Jets, though), but the failure to move the ball and dumb mistakes were way to frustrating down the stretch. I was ready to say the Ravens game, but that one actually became absurdly entertaining by both offenses sucking so much and the defenses playing strong. It helps that it was only week 4, so the loss didn't seem quite as dire as the later ones.
The Oakland and Denver games were games we should have won. Last year, we win both games. Hell, last year we also win the Ravens game IMHO.
You basically just echoed what I said in different words. Sanchez, to fans other than that of the Jets, is completely average to below average and makes some really terrible throws at times. Tebow has better big play ability which masks his completely pathetic mechanics. But they win the same way, when it counts.
It was the game vs Pats at home, I mean with that secondary, we don't throw? Look at what Palko did to them. Don't get me on that Tebow shit.
Yep. Due to this game, I will now just assume the Jets don't win the division until Brady is gone and/or injured. Thought the stars were aligned for this to be the message game and show the Jets were the new power in the AFC East. It turned out to be more indicative of where the season was headed. I'd say the Giants game was a close second due to how much I loathe the Giants and we still controlled our playoff destiny at that point.
If I had to rank them it would be in this order 1. Giants 2. Broncos 3. 2nd Patriots game at home 4. Ravens 5. Raiders 6. 2nd game against the Dolphins 7. Eagles 8. Patriots
Giants have a garbage secondary too and look what happened. We cant do much to garbage secondaries when we have a garbage quarterback
Every loss this season was bad enough to be the worst loss of the season. The Raiders game the Jets had a lead and then threw it away in a 3 department failure. The Ravens game the Jets were just solidly out-classed everywhere and it became clear that the talent gap was as large as ever between the Jets and the elite teams. The 1st Pats game the Jets could have actually won but the defense broke down for the second time in 5 games and they lost instead. The 2nd Pats game was just a total clusterfuck after a month of progress and the Jets gave away a golden opportunity to move up in the division. The Broncos game was on 4 days rest and watching them go 95 yards for a win at the end was painful. The Eagles loss? Leonhard goes out and the Jets give up 45 pts the week after, it feels like a broken record at this point. 60+ passes - what is wrong with this picture? The Giants loss? Another really strong pass rush and watching Sanchez just give up for the first time late in the season. Losses against the Dolphins are always tough but I think this one was as bad as the fake spike game. The Jets were in it all the way but nobody stepped up and made plays until the game was out of hand.
Giants game just because I was there with my friends who are Giants fans. Other then that 2nd NE game and Denver were both really bad. Denver gave the sense that we are not going to make the playoffs and playing NE at home and losing the way we did made us realize that we are still not that good.
