    :lol::lol:

That was in the cafeteria where I work 2 days ago, and I kept wondering what the hell that was.

Raiders WRs improved leaps and bounds this past year. DHB actually looked like a player. Denarius was very good for a rookie.

Edwards was a healthy scratch before he was cut, no ?

Either-way id expect to get Edwards a helluva lot cheaper due to injury and character concerns, than I would any legit #2 reciever.

And im sure well grab a mid to late round rookie this year who could hopefully prove something down the road

I would sign Edwards, and try to upgrade in the draft.

Edwards, Holmes, Kerley, someone as the #4 WR would be more than enough WRs. McKnight can line up in the slot and Keller is not a true TE...

I'd bring back Edwards IF he was healthy and IF it were a one year deal for vet minimum and NOT A DOLLAR MORE

Wtf is wrong with you people that wouldn't bring a healthy Edwards back for any more than the vets min? He and Mark had great chemistry.

no one in this thread has mentioned raiders wr chaz schilens who is a free agent this year...26 years old great size at 6'4 225lbs and play making ability. He's young and has a string of bad luck with injuries, but well worth bringing in for cheap a viable wr4 option.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DcoeBLki_YY

Don't know him to give an opinion but whatever.
    Oh yeah BRING BRAYLON BACK!

I do like Turner. I think he's got a good upside.

That's a very intriguing option that may actually end up coming to fruition. He could be a good option across from Santurdio if he could stay healthy.

I have seen it speculated in numerous places that he would come here as the WR coach and Asst. HC. He has been a very good WR coach before.

    New WR coach

Jets hire former Raiders WRs coach
    January, 13, 2012
Jan 138:45PM ETEmailPrintComments12By Rich CiminiThe Rex Ryan-Tony Sparano tandem made their first coaching addition, hiring Sanjay Lal as the wide receivers coach, the Jets announced Friday night.

Lal replaced Henry Ellard, whose contract wasn't renewed.

So now you're thinking, who is Sanjay Lal? Well, he spent three seasons as the Raiders' wide receivers coach. Before that, he was a Raiders quality-control assistant for two years. That pretty much sums up his NFL experience.

On the surface, this is a curious hire. Neither Ryan nor Sparano has coached with Lal, but he was recommended by Ryan's brother, Rob Ryan, a former Raiders defensive coordinator.

Lal apparently did good work this season with rookie WR Denarius Moore, a fourth-round pick who averaged 18.7 yards per reception -- fourth in the NFL. (The Jets certainly have bad memories of Moore.) But if we're going to give Lal credit for Moore, it also has to be mentioned that he has coached the slow-developing Darrius Heyward-Bey, who finally put up respectable numbers after two awful seasons.

Obvious question: Does the addition of Lal preclude the Jets from hiring former Chiefs coach Todd Haley, whose specialty is wide receivers? The answer is no, he still could come as a passing-game coordinator. As of Friday night, the Jets still weren't ready to move on from Haley, although the chances seemed to be fading.

What the fuck? Hiring the guy whose receiving core was pretty brutal in Oakland? What made Rob like him, how easy it was to defend against his wr's in practice?

Seriously, anyone who failed with DHB should not be the Jets WR coach. Awful hire if you ask me.

Actually what they did this year makes me like the move. ALL WR's on the Raiders had way better years then B4. DHB looked like a football pplayer, Murphy had a good year and even one on IR was good until they got injured( Ford, Moore...etc)

Raiders have a garbage receiving core, but he somehow made them look better...This was prior to Palmer too

Edward sucks and he did nothing last season. Plus he's a drunk and Woody hates him.
