Did you miss the '09 and '10 seasons? How do you know woody hates him? You know he missed most of '11 with injury, right?

Definitely, he did nothing as a Jet the two years previous. What the hell are you talking about? And btw, Edwards looks like a choir boy next to some of the trash on the Jets. At least his sins were off-field issues. Would he have been annonomously blasting Sanchez? HELL no.

But he's a BEAST? I really don't see the Edwards love around here. For all of that love, you'd think the guy would've been a 1000 yard receiver for us.

As for DHB, he caught fire at the end of the season, falling just short of 1000 yards in 13 games, and could be a legit WR1 in coming years Throw in Denarius Moore and Jacoby Ford and the Raiders have a WR corps with a lot of potential.

It was clear Ellard wasn't getting the most out of our WRs. Time for a change.

I'd love to see Edwards back, but again I feel that might be wishful thinking. Holmes has to come back, considering how much he is guaranteed next year. I think Homles - Edwards Kerley is very good combo, especially with the way Kerley's improved and probably will get much better after a full training game.

Holmes - will come back and will have heavy coaching pressure on him to perform well. He was frustrated with the offense a rightfully so. Schotty is gone, he will be happy.
Plax - granted he'll probably get better, he's still a bit over the hill. Maybe give him 1 year for cheap. Part of me thinks it's not worth it besides to use him situationally.
Edwards - Would complement Holmes with a legit deep threat who has existing chemistry with Sanchez. We saw them compliment each other well in 2010. We should give this guy a fair deal, but obviously nothing as crazy as Holmes.

Fixing the offensive line > receivers right now. I'd rather see a solid line than a bunch of elite over paid receivers.

Braylons contact wouldnt be worth much at all. The one he signed with the 49'ers was next to nothing.

I like the idea, cheap, familiar with the WR coach. Allows the Jets to go WR later in the draft. I'm all for it if the price is right.
