You should try doing it with a broken neck. I hear it is a breeze. Some doctor's nephew told me.

If all these reports are true and Peyton wont be able to play football again. Than wouldnt his last time stepping onto the field be a LOSS to the NYJ's in the wildcard round last year??

It's a yahoo report. I am surprised they were able to take anyone off of going over Mitt Romney's tax returns, and talking about how rich he is, to actually put in any effort to actualyl investigate this.

But again, this changes nothing. Everyone knows Manning is not 100% now. The question is whether he can be 100% come August.

And abyzmul being a jackass aside, the question will come down to what Jets doctors say. If they say Manning can be healthy in August, you get Manning, draft a qb in case he is not healthy, and move on...

Hey now, you got a good thing going with this troll schtick. Wouldn't want to ruin it by getting bant for a totally half-assed personal attack. At least put some imagination into it.

It wasn't a personal attack, so no need for imagination. And I am not trolling, just pointing out how ridiculous anyone who doesn't want Manning is being. Actually, more than that, I just want Sanchez gone.

You're ridiculous for taking so long to realize what a pipe dream Manning is. You should have been suggesting realistic solutions long before now, but apparently you need reality to kick your teeth in before you get the message.

I think you need to amend that to a "tiny penis who doesn't always perform as you hope nor always provide pleasure to you or those your playing with" :)

Like I've said all along, neck injuries scare me. I really don't think he should play again.

I'm not a doctor, but I play one on TV, and I say Manning is done.

Yahoo is hardly a kick to the teeth.

My interest in Manning has always been conditional on him being healthy. And I have always said, if not Manning, then either:

    A. Flynn or Campbell to challenge Sanchez OR
    B. RG3 or RT in the draft.

I have constantly given options to make Sanchez a bad dream for Jet fans..

Can Sparano and hire this guy as Offensive Coordinator.

Should be able to keep him at least two years before someone names him head coach.

I guess I lost that stuff in the barrage of GO GET MANNING posts, forgive me for skipping over some of your posts due to their repetitive and propagandist nature.

I have no problem with bringing in competition, but RG3 is another pipe dream. The guy is going to have a locomotive of hype driving his draft value up. The only way we'd be able to draft him would be either him getting caught with drugs - very unlikely - or an injury. He's not a realistic option because trading up is not a realistic option anymore.

RT in the draft is also kind of an unrealistic option unless you plan on bringing in a vet to hold the end until the rookie is good enough not to get the QB killed.

Why would they trade up to get a QB? Unless you think a Dalton-type QB is going to pop up

I see what you did there.

That's the whole point. If there's no guarantee that Peyton would still have the zip on his throws, then he becomes an overpriced, HOF-bound "Chad Pennington".

And we already went on that merry-go-round before..... lol.

That would mean that Braylon, Sanchez, and......NICK FOLK would've been the ones who ended Peyton's career. You can't make this up. [IMG]

If the rumours/sources are accurate a sad ending to a fine football career.

Cue Tannenbaum offering a 5 year $105 million deal that front loaded. *gasp* *blink* *really*

As it should be. That would be pretty nice to have ended his career like that.
