I'm with you. I root for ANY team that plays the NE Patriots, period. I don't understand guys hating the Giants more than the Brady Bunch. Can't stand Bill Belichick, despise Tom Brady and can't stomach Robert Kraft.

Giants will publicly spank Brady tonight and you gotta love it!

I can agree with this. If he produces the next few years like he just did with the possibility of 2 SB rings, then yea he deserves it. But to crown him after just this season if he wins (I've read a few articles about this) regardless of how the rest of his career plays out is just asinine.

This is exactly me. I was all rooting for the Giants, until the media, their fans, and players became so arrogant in a 2 week span.

I'm now on the NE bandwagon. Granted they are our rivals, but I respect the hell out of them. Although if NE wins, idk if I can fathom hearing 'you don't need a good defense to win a SB' which would drive me nuts.

I know that but I'm just using that as an example as to why it's ridiculous for ANYONE to think that Eli is HOF material considering that he was mediocre for the most part this season.....

I could never want the Pats to win. A lot of the feeling people have for the Giants this year, was actually due to Rex and his big talking. The Giants started talking after they shut him up. I understand they are the cross town team, and their fans have to be heard for the next year etc etc,but still,it's the fucking Patriots.

Spot on. We got what we deserved from the Giants after all the Rex boasting. Then we fucking lose games and go 8-8 and we've got the balls to ask other teams to help us? We've made ourselves laughing stocks and it's got to stop. We need to play next year and stfu.

As for taking heat from Giants fans, I'd rather man up and face that music than see the fucking Patriots win another one with Brady and Belichick. Do you guys rooting for the Pats really want this "dynasty" to continue so you can hear about it for fucking decades?

Sick of it already. Brady, Belichick and Kraft need to go down on this one. GO GIANTS!

Be careful what you wish for. You ain't seen nothin' till' you hear how much bragging Patriots fans are going to do. Are you kidding me? Root for a Boston team? Those people are whacko up there... something in the water.

If the Pats win Brady will be the ALL-TIME winningest QB in the playoffs (he's currently tied with Montana with 16 wins) and will have 4 SB wins (tying him with Montana and Bradshaw) and putting him into the discussion for GOAT. How any Jets fan could possibly root for that is absolutely beyond me.

I want to see the Giants sack the shit out of Brady all day long and utterly crush the Patriots. Who gives a shit about having to hear Giants fans gloat - get over it. There could be nothing worse for me as a Jets fan than seeing the Brady Bunch win this game.

I understand the Giants talking big after silencing Rex, but they are still taking jabs at the Jets. Rex wouldn't be constantly dissing them if he were in the Super Bowl, he'd be focused on the matter at hand. The Giants and the NY media that loves them criticizes Rex for talking, but loves when the Giants talk. The Giants are as cocky as the Patriots in '07 with all this parade planning bs. Giants fans are also more annoying than Pats fans these days. Only Giants fans called on Coughlin to be fired, everybody else thought he was a good coach. But suddenly they all worship him and are upset people (Giants fans) doubted him. That is why I want them to lose.

But we can't really root for the Patriots. It will be their first SB post-Spygate, which will put the matter to rest in many people's eyes. I want them both to lose, but really I just want the Jets to win already.

That's it man. I don't see how anybody can call themselves a true Jets fan and root for the Patriots. God Almightly, people are really screwed up.

"But gee... I might have to hear somebody in blue making a wise crack about my Jets gear." Get TF over it. The Patriots are revolting. No way can you call yourselves Jets fans and want the Pats to win. No way.

This thread is like asking what's worse, getting stabbed in the chest or shot in the chest. Both results suck.

Like it or not, the Patriots are the class of the NFL. 13-3 this season, 14-2 last season ... when you win that many games in this league, you're a special team. The Giants are basically a .500 team that caught a bunch of breaks the last few weeks of the season.

For me it will be alot easier to stomach a Pats victory because they truly are a championship caliber team. The Giants are no better than a middle of the league team. For Christ's sake, they lost to the Redskins twice and gave up 50 to the Saints. That's NOT a championship team.

Yea but then the Pats will connect it to their run in the early 2000s. The dynasty talk will never end. With the Giants, as Rex Ryan said, winners get to say what they want. I understand the Giants and their talk, but the Patriots are still the Patriots. Let's not root for the Giants, but let's root against the Patriots.

The Pats Dynasty won't end til Brady retires, so no matter what happens, they were still a Dynasty whether they had 3 or 4 wins.

I get what you are trying to say, but the reality is, someone will win
A Giant loss makes life easier for the Jets

I really think a Pats win will be like a last hurrah
I could see them slipping a little next season, win or lose
