Getting Peyton Manning would have been an exciting moment in our history. Its sort of diasapointing he wants nothing to do with us, what do othyer free agents think of us?
Now we can get back to the draft, free agency??? and whatever. I think players want to stay away from our mess. Why would anyone want to play for us with how our year ended last year? The in fighting, no order, and having cap issues. I think this is the last year for Tanny, Rex, and Sanchez. I think we are going to be a .500 team next year, and Woody is going to clean house. At least our cap situation should be better next year, maybe we can draft a few players that might ever play this year. Looks like it is going to be a long year.

    This is fucking BULLSHIT.

I, personally, absolutely refuse to give up hope until he officially signs somewhere. Cimini is a douche and Sanchez is a fucking dick. If we go into the season with Sanchez behind center, we're fucked beyond repair. Manning is the only guy who can turn around this team in one year.

It's not about optimism or negativity. It's about not knowing very much about football, and covering it up with a schtick.

TBH I dont believe this because the final 3 teams are the Broncos, Phins, and Cards...

So what happened to the Chiefs? 49ers? Texans?

If its over though, then its a benefit. Time to prepare for the 2012 season.

Harbaugh doesn't want Peyton on the team, the Texans feel Schaub is still the answer for them at QB and want to spend the money to bring back Mario, and although the Chiefs want him, he doesnt want them. That's what happened.

And let me get this straight, you believe its a benefit even though you're campaigning for Manning? Get real and pick a side instead of flip flopping your opinions. Who rocks a Manning Sig with a Sanchez avatar.

I don't believe it because where are the Packers, Giants and Steelers.

The Texans have a high paid QB who was pretty damn good last year before he got hurt.

The 49ers have never publicly shown any interest in Manning, so why would they be required to make the report believable?

i never believed he was actually considering us anyways. Why would he wanna play in the cold, have to play tom brady twice every year if not more depending on playoffs, and also share the city with his brother.

He's 1-2 in the playoffs and 4-6 in the regular season. While its not a winning record it's not exactly domination.

Loud mouth Pats fans saying something over and over dosent make it true.

Come on guys. This has been obvious since the end of the season. We are sticking with Sanchez. It's not financially realistic. I said the same thing about Nmandi last year. It was nothing more than a pipe dream. Let it go. Sparano was brought in to give Sanchez a better system. Peyton was never a realistic option.

That's about as OFFICIAL without becoming official as we're going to get at this point.

    It's Over. THANK GOD!

Now let's look forward to Mark having a MAJOR Bounce-back season to remember!! [IMG]

Well of course it wasn't realistic...do you want to know what the extent of the Manning inquiries most likely were from the front office's standpoint?

A Headline. Something, anything to get the clowns attention diverted for Sanchez for two seconds. He dangles the unattainable Manning carrot for a minute and all of a sudden everybody's all pumped up...woohoo we're bidding on Peyton! I make get to not have to watch this dumb Sanchez no more!!!

Jets gracefully bow out of the running before it gets too heated, no resources lost and people don't get too set on Manning. Ah, hell they say. We gave it a shot on Manning. Guess we'll have to tough it out on this idiot kid one more year until we can make a move for whoever next year's version of Manning is...that'll be alright too. Voilah Sanchez has new lease on life somewhat in the media for a minute during the very delicate FA/draft period.

Bounce back seasons are for players that actually have had good statistical seasons. Mark in this case, has never really had a good season, so let's hope this is his breakout season. And let's also hope Braylon is apart of it.

Good. I'm glad P Manning shortened the list this soon. Another reason to respect the guy.

Seems that Miami's chances of getting Peyton aren't as clear-cut :

I truly believe that when all's said and done, peyton will end up in either Arizona or Houston.
