Cheap Shot? Give me a break, He turned while Boyle hit him. Boyle even slowed up. Sorry, Rangers are a hard grinding team, but they are anything but Cheap. Sens can send anyone they want out, Rupp, Prust or Bickel will have no problem beating the piss out of any Sens players.

Sens lose the next game they have no chance. Your streaky goalie is not going to be able to come close to holding Hank's jock in this round. Rangers win it in 5 on the play of Hank alone.

It's true. I almost prefer the 300's to the 100's because it's easier to see all of the ice.

You gotta love a Sens fan labeling any of the Rangers as cheap. Lest we forget Chris Neil plays in Ottawa. And in response to the incident in question, english conveniently leaves out the fact Prust is getting the business from two Sens behind the net while the linesman stands there waiting for them to back off at the same time Boyle and Karrlson are going at it

Haha, seriously. Prust takes on two Sens behind the net and the Rangers are taking liberties?

    Get off the sauce.

I think you both need to read my post again. I'm not complaining about Boyle doing it - I'd expect my team or any other team to do the same. I'm complaining about the Senators not exacting retribution for it.

I realise that you want to get into some kind of rampant homeristic argument, but it's not happening. Playoff hockey is a physical game. Last night we allowed the Rangers to muscle us out of every part of the game. The Rangers are the superior team and have the superior game plan; that was true before the game and it's true now. It doesn't mean that there aren't things that Ottawa can do to counteract the Rangers' superiority and if you think that last night means the series is over, then I'm not sure what to tell you.

That makes more sense. The Rangers are tougher than anyone you put them up against for my money so I don't really see the Sens getting even. They can try though.

You don't avoid physical battles even if you don't think you have an even chance - and when it comes to pure size, the Senators are every bit as big as the Rangers, and possible even a little bigger. The difference is that the Rangers are better at using their size - last night's game plan was exactly what I said it should be for them, rather than targetting Karlsson exclusively they removed Spezza and Alfredsson from the game and took out Karlsson's routes. The Sens don't play well on the boards, which is exactly what the Rangers forced them to do; what the Rangers can't take any credit for is the Sens' continued refusal to finish their checks. Like I said, we were outmuscled everywhere on the ice last night; on Saturday, we have to fight fire with fire. I'd send someone through Lundqvist early on and try to a) shake him up, and b) get the Rangers team riled up. It was men v boys last night at points.

This would be the ideal approach, I just don't know if the Senators have t in them. When it went to 4-0 I was expecting them to start getting physical to send a message for game 2. They didn't even do that.

It's funny you say they should run Hank and get things riled up. Anderson last night was taking shots at people left and right in front of the net, like going out of his way to shove them. Rangers weren't even right up in his face. It didn't end up serving him very well doing it. One of the goals in particular he took himself out of position initially, recovered, but let up the goal anyway (I want to say Boyle's goal).

I'm pissed the inner concourse is cut off at the ends now between the 200's and 300's. It was one of the true highlights of the Garden.

check this out, awfully "clever" calling some guy at a random starbucks to test his hockey prowess. it is a tad bit funny, but i hope they send them home down 0-2 now more than ever. man it's early and i am bored digging this crap up huh?, better grab my bong and medicinal buds and start the day right, how did i get sidetracked like this? oh yeah cuz i'm sober and it's 9:13 a.m., that will come to a close in two minutes.
got the Yankees to watch in 45 minutes, i love 10 a.m. games out here of any NHL,NFL or MLB games.
