RichCimini At NFL event today, Trent Richardson said #Jets called him Sunday to verify correct contact info just in case they trade up for him. Hmm. Boiyoiyoiyoing
Is this a good or bad wtf? It would be a little out there, but I couldn't get mad at drafting our starting RB for the next 5 years if we have the opportunity. Put him on the field with Tebow and Kerley and it's going to cause problems for opposing teams.
:breakdance: I pray to the football gods we get Trent Richardson. I'd be completely fine with not having a first next year if we get him. I hope this trade gets done without are 2nd being included we'll really need a safety or linebacker
the only way to protect Sanchez from complete failure is a strong running game. and fug it, Richardson and Tebow could do the run option all day. I love it!
I love the player, I hate the trade up. We have too many holes to spend a bunch of picks on one player, especially a RB. If it was a trade up to take a guy like Von Miller, I wouldn't hate it as much. Now if they could do it for a reasonable price it could change my mind, but I doubt it.
This is where I stand. I love Richardson, I would love to have him. But not at the expense of multiple first rounders. But damn... Tebow and Richardson in the same backfield...

This year's first, next years first and fifth? Or am I just pretending like the cards will fall in our favor?
According to Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork.com, the New York Jets have verified contact info for Alabama running back Trent Richardson "just in case" they decide to trade up in the draft and select him. So if the Jets are interested in trading up, who could they find to make a deal. Most observers say the Minnesota Vikings are looking to move out of the No. 3 spot, which might be where the Jets need to be to get Richardson. If those two teams do make a swap, ESPN.com AFC North blogger Jamison Hensley says that would be bad news for the Cleveland Browns. He's not sure what they would do if Richardson weren't available:
Atlanta traded a 1st, 2nd, 4th and this year's 1st and 4th for Julio Jones. That will probably be the baseline. This trade would cost more.
So much WTF in one tweet. Do the Jets think Patriots or Phins will trade up and now they try to raise the price for that trade?
I think tebow will have to get combined or a player will have to be sent away......maybe revis?? I honest dont know but if we do get RICHARDSON we need an OLINE/RT in the 2nd or 3rd!! Sign bell from miami as a saftey and get edwards for wr. we will be alright then!
