I see some 300 lbs guy at the mall the other day that was wearing a Rangers jersey that was made for a 200 lbs man. I was amazed he was able to move around in it.

HackettStillSux, Did you get the email about the garden's new seating plan, it was called the Madison club? It was something like it’s $700 a year per seat and your guaranteed seats to games? My wife was explaining it to me while I was falling asleep. I don’t understand it completely.

I have a Messier jersey that runs big on me now. Got it in early high school when I wasn't in as good of shape as now and also thought it was cooler to wear things loose then. Makes me laugh now, but nonetheless I'll have it on.

Not to hijack topics, but being that Reebok's NFL reign expired does anyone know when they might be up on their lease of NHL jerseys?

Ugh, then how do you watch the game and listen to that broadcast. That's brutal. I used to hate Emerick calling games. I've kind of grown to like him, a lot of times just because you know it's a big game if he's calling it. Also, I noticed from watching some of the west playoff games, Kenny Albert is much better on radio.

When Strals scored the other night, I yelled and my son looked at me and Strals scored about 6 seconds later...

I've posted this damn link a million times on the Jets forum for those who want to listen to 1050 instead of TV.

Emrick is hte best there is. plain and simple.

Id listen to him even if the radio was synced. Youre absolutely unnormal. IN a loveable way of course.

Well, I've never cared enough to go through the trouble of syncing anything up. We're not talking about amatuers broadcasting the games. But it's true, Emerick is damn good. I forget who the commentator is, Vancouver's or LA's regular announcer. He used to be the voice of the NHL video games before they reverted back to Gary Thorne. Whatever his name is, he's very good. Really good voice, doesn't have to fluff up the calls too much. To me by far THE WORST is Joe Benanati. When there's a goal scored it sounds like he's doing the play by play for someone kicking his dog. He's gotta have the most anti-climactic calls in hockey.

I've had 4 different people try to explain it to me, and I still don't get it. I should call MSG themselves.

Emerick is the man. Best vocabulary EVER!

    DRIIIIIVE
    SCAAAAARRRRRR
    A SHAAAAHHHHT
    Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh!
    Helter Skelter
    Waffleboarded
    Shimmied
    Knifed
    Walked
    Finessed
    Toedragged
    Sashayed
    Jostled
    Swaggered
    Skirmishing
    Jai-alai’ed (????)
    Pitchforked
    Skyhooked
    Speared
"Good Night Nurse, somebody call time!"
    Careened
    Blasted
    Banked
    OFF THE PIIIPE!
And I'm fairly certain I remember him using "Razzledazzled" at one point:smile:

He also called the 1994 game 6. "The stuff of legend, the called shot, the hat trick." History is doomed to repeat itself. LETS GO RANGERS!!!
