If the sack thing is an issue at all it is minor. Could he benefit from a faster release - of course. But if you look at the number they are not overwhelming. There are faster release QB that had more sacks and I'm not going to go to the trouble of averaging games played because it's not a significant number. If you watch any of the Bronco games that line was very good at run blocking but pass protection sucked. There was a rookie at right tackle. One of the stable guards went down before the end of the season. Hell even Orton had a bunch of sacks in 2010. This isn't supported by the numbers unless you want to compute it out to decimals. Hell - Manning had 11 sacks in postseason which was about a third of Tebow's season number. This is another fabricated argument to slam a guy that needs to improve his game. If you are convinced he can't that's fine state your opinion but don't make crap up - there are too many other things that need to improve. There are starting QB's with fast releases that have worse numbers and some of those guys had worked with there offenses, coaches and OL - in some cases for years. There was another QB that had more sacks than Tebow last year but I will not bother giving out a list of the dozen or so QB's because it isn't an issue IMO.
I have shown you so many numbers and stats you would need a calculator to sort them. Talking to you is liking talking to a wooden post .
Cval it is a public forum and in the Tebow section no less , sorry to disappoint your intolerant mind set .
This response is beyond sad. Way to make yourself look quite bad. Calculate all you like. Carrying Tebow's cock can get heavy. Edit: Way to avoid everything I mentioned. Solid.
We have discussed the same thing for over a year already , it is tiring as an example you mention Prater " single handily " winning games by bombing kicks ....sigh....single handedly huh..... Against Chicago which was Praeters signature kick in regulation and overtime , Tebow went 18/24 191 yards and a TD in 7 1/2 minutes of play , to say Prater did it single handily is ludicrous , to say Tebow sucked before that is not giving the entire picture ( remember DTs 55 yard TD drop? ) so why continue to go back and forth ? How many times can we debate your Steelers excuse making? Everybody is hurt during that time of year , Dawkins, Kuper , Moreno all out , Von Miller and Decker hurt , Denver had those key injuries . And if Lebaeu does not go all run defense against Tebow then he might have rushed for 150 yards and 3 TDs because as it stood ,with the steeler's 9 in a box , Tebow had 50 yards and a TD, you can't have it both ways, the Steelers played that way because they had to . Now I will take this opportunity to point out that your obsession with Tebow's genetelia continues as you cant seem to stop bringing it up. I know your heart is broken about LOLO Jones possibly going on a date with Tebow instead of you but try and hold it together man!
I was wondering when you'd resurface after I curb-stomped your idiotic post on the first page. I also knew you'd have nothing relevant to say. Welcome back.
It's the Catch-22 -- if you hang around and debate endlessly, you're some sort of Tebow nut devoted to defending him ad nauseum. But if you just drift in and out (like a normal human being), it's because you're an idiot and had no response to the crusaders like phaytal who must make sure the whole internet knows Tebow is teh sux. How about it's just football, and the whole point is to talk about something worth talking about? Like wins, losses, touchdowns, and stops.
I've been lurking in this thread, and these boards. I gotta say man....you look really pathetic following Tebow here just to try and show everyone how much you don't like him. There's gotta be something more productive you can do with your time.
In summary the blessed Saint Timmy is not and never will be even a marginally adequate NFL passing QB. Good fullback and punt protector but his awful mechanics for passing are unfixable Even with the aid of his adoring believers in faith healers End of story...NOT a quarterback Jet fans eternally thank their lord that Mark Sanchez is our QB because unlike Saint Timmy....he IS an NFL Quarterback Sent from my SGH-T679 using Tapatalk 2
Not intolerant just very annoyed that a Bronco fan and a Cowboy fan would come on a Jets forum an argue. This is not a Tebow forum it is a Jets forum with a place to discuss a Jets player. See the theme Jets? I am sure there is a Tebow forum out there somewhere that is not related to the Jets go there.
Hell dude, even Donovan McNabb, who has been very critical of Tebow, says that his "problems" are fixable.
Exactly, every thing that Tebow is deficient in is fixable, the problem is how many years and chances does it take to either fix them for good or show he can't get them fixed. Will it be this year (his 3rd in the league) his 4th, 5th? The problem I have is he has had 3 years to work on his own, with his QB coach and hire as many private coaches as he wants to. Yet, the same issues he faced coming out of college are the same issues plaguing him today. He lived on being physically gifted for so long can he get the mental stuff in order?
As a Jets fan and how he relates to the jets. Not a Cowboy fan arguing with a Bronco fan. At least you other non jet Tebow fans talk about Tebow (for the most part) as a jet
I'm not one to suffer fools... I don't have the patience that some others here do. Why are you on this board again? I stay clear of the main boards because I'm an obvious tebow supporter and don't feel its my place to comment on the team itself. I have NO idea what your relevance here is except to be a total troll. If that is your goal, well... your doing great
Eh he's back here because he's been perma-banned from bronco's country on every screen name he can come up with~
Why do his detractors always maximize this "three years" thing? You understand he was drafted a little over 2 years ago? I mean, I know it's splitting hairs, but if it's so important, if it's so critical to your assessment the amount of time has elapsed since he got out of school, why not be precise? He's just now entering his third year, and we have yet to see what the results are.
