You're right...These guys work their asses off to get in prime physical condition to get to the NFL...Torture their bodies, finally make it, then see Rex the coach is fat and say "FUCK IT! IF HE'S FAT I DON'T RESPECT HIM AND I'M NOT GONNA WORK OUT." Are you KIDDING ME??!? Do you have any sense of how ridiculous you sound right now? Fat coaches never get respect....ESPECIALLY that Bill Parcells guy...Wow did players not respect him AT ALL. And that Andy Reid?? WOW do his players laugh at him...It's a wonder he's been in the same spot for over a decade... Oh BTW, before you ask me how many SB's Andy Reid has one, that has nothing to do w/ his weight nor is it relevant. We are on the topic of respect...Unless next, you are going to tell me respect wins championships. Oh BTW Round 2, have I mentioned that Rex has lost well over 100 lbs?
What kind of shape is Mike Tomlin in? How about Tom Coughlin? Who else is a fat bastard coaching an NFL team?
Another dodge of the post with a cheap one liner because ya got nothing to say back and know you make no sense
Romeo Crennel. I think he turned a mediocre Chiefs team into the only guys who beat the defending champ Packers??
So players in the NFL today arent in better shape than players were 25 years ago? Are you kidding me?
My point was that you said 20 year ago ppl didnt care about being obese. Well if they didnt care then why would the greats of 20 years even bother??
BTW i gave you an example of an overweight coach who was able to turn a group of very unmotivated guys around and get them motivated in Romeo Crennell
Obesity wasnt shunned upon back then as it is now. Obesity causes diabetes and other medical problems that nobody knew about 25 years ago. Sheesh come on man STOP the hate and discuss the subject matters man to man football fan to football fan.
Ppl didnt know at diabetes 25 years ago?? Well in 1986 mt grandfather was told he had to lose weight because he developed diabetes or he was gonna die. That was 26 years ago
Youre backtracking so fast! You said name a coach i did!! And whats more motivational or inspirational then a guy like Rex who was very obese and who loved his snacks to make a turn around??? Schilens doesnt even know the fat Rex so how could you even try to say it effected him??
It was far and few between. Back in the day people were senile who lost their minds now they have dementia or alzheimers. Schillens has been injured his entire career did the NYJETS think because he put on a NYJETS uni that would all change. COME ON MAN
What the hell are you talking about???? Youre point is that Rex's weight played a factor in these injuries. Schilens' prior injuries had nothing to do with this one. Point is you have no point. Rex has no hand in these "injuries"
Basically your saying fat coaches are bad because they set a bad example, bt 20 years ago it worked because society didnt place such a negative outlook on obesity??? Thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard, so we should just fire Rex and the Chiefs should just fire Crennell and hire the skinniest guys they find regardless of coaching experience or talent WOW
Rex is skinny again and I knew he lost over 100lbs. I wonder why he didnt continue to eat his way to 500lbs.
Show me one ounce of proof that a coaches physical condition effects an NFL athletes physical conditioning and play on the field in any way and I'll listen...If not you will just continue to sound stupid, making a massive assumption based on absolutely no information.
