I think so, not sure. I believe that number is from the prorated bonus money accelerating to the current cap year.

there is absolutely no chance the Jets trade Tim Tebow. We can get that out of our heads.

I know Vernon Carey Retired Last year, but after 8 seasons with the Dolphins, Wonder if Sporano could convince him to come back for a couple years?

It seems the Jets are in a tough spot regarding upgrading the offensive line.

if Jason Smith gets cut, theres no reason why he shouldn't be a jet. vernon carey is a good option as well.

compared to hunter, anyone is a good option.

So let's see..our superstar GM finally realizes what a piece of shit our RT is two weeks before the season starts and after guaranteeing his contract for this year. Wow, Woody should resign him for another 20 years. In another two weeks it will be Sanchez and two weeks after that it will be Holmes..oh wait..he guaranteed all of their contracts for another year or two.

If Lions are willing to part with 2 of their tackles, Jets should try their best to snag them.

RT Wayne Hunter is not here tonight. The team excused him from tonight's practice, according to a person with knowledge of his status. #nyj

Both of the Lions starting safeties have injury concerns at this point. That's not exactly a strong point for the Jets though.

They already tried getting Carey to un-retire. He's coaching high school football in Miami and has no interest in playing.

gm and chrysler were lead into bankruptcy by bean-counters mascarading as ceos. never, ever put your business in the hands of a bean-counter!
let them stay where they belong, with the pencils, ledgers, and monthly issue of maxim, the only chance they get to see real women......

Wilson seems like the most tradeable, but I would very much like to keep him as he is a good cover corner against slot receivers. Kind of like a just in case thing. Wilson is really the only leverage the Jets would have on Revis. Wilson would only get better moving to the outside, because he has the sideline to work with.

If someone picked up Bart Scott's contract, I think he would have good value as well.
