i wasn't crazy about the pick, but he has impressed.
getting inside pocket pressure is just so disruptive to offenses, and he's done it plenty so far.

it does seem he gets a bit winded though. saw him take a bit of a play off and get pushed well off LOS on a run play at the DT position.
Seems wisely like Rex is taking a similar approach Parcells had with Curtis his rookie year.
Keep him in the game, play after play, and let him get winded so he knows what playing in the NFL requires. I like the approach, coz if this kid can perform consistently, they've got a player..

loved the pick and Coples is looking like he could become a very special player. The DL all looked good last night. too bad the qbs both sucked.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that you didn't watch the game. There was 3 or 4 drops and the pick was off a perfect ball that Hill batted up.

Congrats on looking at the stats and not watching the game! So I'm sure you think Tebow and Sanchez are still in a competition?

Only reason the INT was an INT was because Hill let the ball bounce off his hands into the defender. That wasn't on Mark

Neither was the 20 yard pass dropped by Santonio, or the pass dropped by Epps and the pass to Hill in the ednzone looked very catchable for a 6 foot 4 guy.

i watched every minute of the game. the numbers are what they are despite the attempts to make up excuses for sanchez's failure to get the ball into the EZ. not good. sanchez looked better but being the first team since '77 to not score a td in 3 preseason games = sucking.

See there's guys who don't play hard all the time and when they do they still suck (gholston...) and then there's Coples, When he actually plays hard and goes for it he's really good. Just a lazy shit at times. I think when he is hungry he's gonna be a force.

Again, that's not on Sanchez that's on the WRs and TEs for not executing. That's been our issue for a while now

again, making excuses for the qb's failure and blaming others doesn't change the fact that this is the worst preseason performance by an offense since 1977. blaming a wr instead of the failing qb seems pretty silly.

They are not excuses. HILL BASICALLY GAVE THE BALL TO THE PANTHERS. Holmes dropped a perfectly placed ball that could have gone for extra if he makes the catch. Dedrick Epps...eh... well, he probably won't be on the roster. We need DK in there. I think Hill could have made that catch in the EZ, but it also could have been thrown a couple inches lower. Baker probably could have taken a step up and caught the other ball in the EZ, but I do think it was a bad decision to throw the ball there. Nobody is making excuses. They are telling you what happened.

They are not excuses they are facts. Are you fucking kidding me? You're blaming Sanchez for wide receivers dropping perfect passes? What more do you want him to do. Throw it up in the air and run out to catch them.

I feel sorry for you... It must suck watching a game with that kind of outlook. Im sure you didnt like Sanchez's first 2 throws also?

There's no use in yelling at a brick wall when you obviously don't care how Sanchez actually plays, might as well not watch the game then.

3 clear drops that would have easily have made his stat line 14-18, 160 yards, no INTs. Are you so critical that Greene didnt break off a 50 yard TD run??? Sanchez played very well, and if you fail to see that then I am truly sorry.

That might work... Sanchez might have better hands than our WR's...

There's no I in team, buddy, and there's more than 1 player on offense. Every player must contribute toward the teams success. Sanchez threw a bunch of perfect passes last night and had 61% completion, despite the drops. That's better than his average for last season. The pass to Hill hit him right in the chest and bounced off into a CB's hands.. but that's cuz Sanchez sucked. He should have seen that coming.

I blame Nick Mangold. None of this would have happened if he had just stayed in camp instead of drinking a BEER at the OLYMPICS.
