I've played both OL/DL and this stuff happens way more than people notice. And when I played DL people tried this stuff, its called a rip, a swim, or a punch to the gut off the snap. Like I said earlier in the thread, if I were a bills fan my response would be for williams to deacon jones or mean joe greene headlsap his ass back. Williams got owned, being a lineman is about imposing your will on someone. Williams is using a shitty copout for being a 100 million dollar man being owned by someone who was training camp fodder until last week. Btw I became a huge Howard fan when he completely turned his game around in the panthers game. Hope this isn't just a few good weeks of him sezing the oppertunity, and moreso what to expect for years to come.

Problem with a $100million contract is you get $100million of pressure every week to be Bruce Smith. Guess what Mario in no Bruce Smith! So when he sucks like he did he is going to feel the need to make an excuse, but if you think a guy is cheating and you are down 30points cheat back. Check the pics by Laszlo Kovac. You will easily see Austin's helmet bent backward, meaning Mary held the facemask down low and pushed the helmet backward. Mary "Cunt" Williams also did exactly the same thing - and it was in the 1st quarter, not 4th. It is not likely that Mary got fed up with the hands to the face thing during the first drive of the game. Also I find it hard to believe that Mary didn't do that all game either. Mary is just being a crybaby. On the other side, you will also see Mark Anderson pushing Ferguson while holding on to the facemask and pushing the helmet back. I never heard Ferguson crying about it. If it happened every other play as he claims it did do you really think the NFL network wouldn't have spent 10 minutes showing you every one of those plays? Of course they would, it's the Jets and they have enough camera angles to show you everything.

The point is it is 1 missed call. Its not like he was doing it the entire game. You are Mary Williams with 100 million $ contract. You just got outplayed the entire game by a practice squad player. Just because they missed a flag on a couple of plays doesn't make how poorly you played in every other play go away. Howard flat out dominated him.
