The same reason he isn't signed by 31 other teams....... overrated malcontent. They couldn't dump Holmes because of his stupid contract, but they could at least get rid of Plax.
If you sign plax you might as well ship out Sanchez for a hotdog. Plax is not the answer. And frankly signing a big name receiver in general is not the answer. It's more of the problem as that's how Tanny has tried to patch wholes in the past and look where that's gotten us. How about we try and get Sanchez the same group of starting receivers for 2 weeks straight. It doesn't matter how talented they are, If they have shit rapport with our QB they're not going to help. I'm really expecting Kerley and Hill to step up big right now. Hill is young but Kerley might not get another shot at a big time role like this. Here's to hoping he makes the most of it.

Plax didn't do anything that I can remember. Please provide a link where Plax says one negative thing about the team sir. Take your time because he never did. The Jets thought they were being cut by "getting younger" at WR and all they did was leave themselves vulnerable because none of these guys have had more than a cup of coffee in the NFL so far. You don't need the big name. The Dolphins were labled as having one of the worst receiving corps, not only in the media but by many fans, myself included. Brian Hartline is now leading the NFL in receiving yards. Why? Because Tannehill is throwing the ball to him and they are developing chemistry. Let Sanchez work with Hill and Schillens for the season and see if they can work together. Part of the problem has been applying band aids to a gaping wound.
Plaxico did more last season than Braylon did last year and is doing this year. Enough with the Braylon love he fucking sucks now. We were right to get rid of him and its evident. The 2 arrests in a year and a half with us should be enough of a message.

Are you serious? He ripped Sanchez after the Jets made it clear he wasn't being brought back. The illogical thing would be to bring Plax back. His only asset is being a red zone target which is based on his height alone. He doesn't provide any YAC or get separation when receiving the ball. He was extremely unimpressive for the Jets last year, and there were a zillion articles written about it, saying he was one of (if not the main) reason our WR corps were so bad.

When have the arrests ever kept anyone from the Jets? The Jets of all teams in the NFL are happy to deal with problem children. Further, there's this thing called continuity. Sanchez had something with Braylon that worked. You maybe could've even brought in Plaxiglass to complement that but the fact is they changed the dynamic of the offense when they got rid of Braylon. The Jets have not helped Sanchez and by extension the rest of the team.
Post your articles and links for anything you just said. You wont' find them because they're not there... Plax never said anything about the team, it's coaches, or Sanchez. He was just as productive as Holmes, and actually put up more TD's. Let's get this guy signed and at least do SOMETHING right today okay? Aggghhh!!!
Hill put up a 1/4 of those stats in one game. I really think getting another receiver on the field who can't create separation is the last thing we need right now. If you want to bring him in as a RZ specialist I could see that MAYBE being beneficial, But how do you think Plax would receive that? Think he's gonna be happy playing 5-6 snaps a game? I'd rather see the roster spot used elsewhere and develop our in house talent. Hill has what it takes to be better then Plax, He just needs to get his head/hammy right..... Which will happen. P.S. Its not like the Jets are actively seaking people who have been arrested . When your choice is between Braylon who was arrested twice and Holmes who was a model citizen his first year the choice isn't that difficult. Also maybe they knew something that the fans don't. Braylon played awful last year and this year has 5 catches. Stop whining for Braylon its retarded. I wanted him back real bad 2 years ago but its obvious it was a good choice to let him go. He was cut by the 49ers who needed WRs and is on another team not earning his pay check.
