The Jets have lost to 3 better teams--and they'll more than likely lose this week too.

The schedule sets up nicely though, and the AFC is so pathetic that they're never out of it.

Yeah, this hasn't been discussed a million times on here.

We'll probably lose Sunday? Good to know

It wouldn't be so worthy of freaking out if we got better play out of the qb position.

82 yards passing ain't gonna cut it Sunday.

If we only have 82 passing yards we will be in great shape just like we were last week. People are so fucking pissed we only had 82 passing yards.

Guess what, we kicked the shit out of the other team and didn't need to pass. Rex would sign up for this every single week right now if he could because it would mean his vision of how to win games is coming to fruition on the field. You guys act like Sanchez has never passed for more than 82 yards.

That said, we will almost certainly need more than 82 yards passing this week because I highly doubt our defense can bottle up the Pats offense.

People hated when the run game worked like this and we went away from it to let Sanchez throw in the past.

Our run game was DOMINATING, no need to pass. Would throwing passes down the field recklessly really make sense when we could run over them at will?

And yes everyone overreacts. It's sports. It's hard to remain emotional stable and rational through a season. That's why we are all fanatics aka fans

    Exactly.

If that 82 Yards goes with 250 of rushing and we controll the clock while scoring 35 points Rex, the team, and the fans would happily take it to the bank every time.

One of the bright spots for the Jets is their schedule. Unfortunately, the same goes for every other AFC team.

    Good luck with that.

I'd love for us to dominate on the ground and not have to rely on Sanchez.
But at some point he's got to step up his play...and that might well be this Sunday.

Or do you really think we're gonna run all over the Pats?

Somebody slap this clown. 82 yards would most definitely cut it if it included 2 passing TDs and 3 rushing TDs. Fan much? Guess not.

If you run for 252 yards, who needs to pass?

Absolutely. What matters is points and wins, not whether you passed or rushed for them.

That being said I'd love to see an 80-yard run and a hail Mary pass:breakdance:

    Depends.

I would love to see Sanchez throw 50 yard and win. That would clearly mean Jets OL and running game raped Pats D all day long.

You really think that under a 100 yrds. passing is gonna win in today's NFL?

    You need a slap, clown.

I realize you've got your hands full defending your man crush on Sanchez. The only way this team is gonna make the post season is if he plays up to his potential. If you think that's 82 yards, well then you're selling him short.

The Jets ain't gonna run on every team remaining on the schedule. And this defense is not gonna play lights out every week.

You actually do watch the Jets, right?

Guys, the personal bashing isn't necessary. You're both right in a sense so your attacks are contradictory.

There are arguments to both sides. If the ruNning game is chugging along, and Sanchez only has a handful of throws for timely completions and a TD or 2 then we are sailing. If our run game gets bittle up then the teams rides Marks arm. It all depends on the situation.

Hey....Barcs started it...and he called my team allegiance into question. That hurt my feelings.

And really...how many games are won with under 100 yards passing in today's game?

I'd love to be the team that can cram the ball down an opponents throat and run all day long. And if anything, that would open up the long pass, thereby negating the argument.

So once again I'm right. Yay!

Let me simplify it for you. If Sanchez ends the game with 82 yards passing we probably smashed the Patriots. I think it's highly unlikely that will happen.

Yards do not mean anything, Would you have rather have Mark throw for 300 and the Jets lose?

The 83 yards means the Jets dominated in all aspects of the game. Offense, Defense Special Teams (Field Position).

It is not about the yards it is about making plays making the great throw at a critical point in the game. Mark did that last week we won he did not do that against Houston we lost.

People are actually criticizing Sanchez after a blow out win?

Did anybody say 82 yards would be enough most of the time no but when you dominate a team like we did the colts it was. Against the Bills he needed 250 against Miami 306. He needed more against the others.
