The only bright spot was when Greene fumbled....it was 4th down and he didnt' make it anyways, that fumble actually acted as a 7 yard punt.
Does Woody fire Tanny after being embarrassed on national television? He loves the media, but he surely can't love the commentators laughing at us and calling us 'keystone cops'.
Time to call another meeting Woody this time invite Tebow and tell him why you really brought him here to begin with
3 freak TD's in less that one minute can't be swept under the rug, but if it could Sanchez and the Jets had more yards both running and passing then the Pats in the other 59:02 minutes of the game. You can focus on one really freaky 58 seconds, or you can look at the other 3542 seconds that we did ok in. Mark's INT in the redzone (again) and Greene's fumble while being stood up fighting for a first down were really bad plays on our part. The 'hand off' fumble and the ST fumble by a guy returnning his first ever punt are more freaky then SOJ. I still think we finish 9-7 and go from there. WE play the bills and chargers we can stick of fork in those fuckers. WE also need big ben to take his time getting back and let 'Charli Batch' lead the steelers tp an 8-8 or 9-7 finish. Add we need The colts and luck to keep folding like a cheap rooky, especially with their 2 upcoming game against the #1 teams like Texans We dont want to peak to soon. Peaking next week and kicking the door in at the playoffs on a 5 game win streak sounds really good to me. Thr only draw back is ppl well say we stole the giants playbook for success and glory The plan is there to read: Peak after the Tahnksgiving game, roll throug your last 5 games, finish 9-7, kick the door in, play 3 game the road, then get ready to play in the big one. WE are right where we need to be. Rex has a crytsal ball....or know rex both his balls are made out of crustal.
Its not like we did anything to help that QB Barry.......... You could see even tonight if you give him some time he can make throws. If the WR can catch is another question. A lot of QB's suck. But cover it up with talent around them. When whats his name on the Giants is healthy Eli looks great, but not without him. Or that's what sportscenter says. Tonight was a cluster fuck of epic proportions. And Wilfork is the greatest line player ive ever seen.
If you're trolling; good job. If you're not, and that actually happens, I will seriously just be over-joyed. I would still want to fire Tanny though.
There's 2 main reason's why this team gets embarrassed so often. Number 1 ... our QB can't play, and it's a big problem when you have to try to win despite the play of your QB. It's actually a small miracle that we were able to do it as long as we did. Number 2 ... Our pass rush (if you can call it that) is a complete joke. Even in a game like tonight, a fierce pass rush will keep you in the game by forcing 3 and outs, forcing bad passes that might be picked, or coming up with fumbles on sacks. Unfortunately, we need to rely on gassed DB's being able to cover speedy receivers all over the field. A tough way to play defense.
All I can say is Fu*kkkkkk. I was debating starting the Patriots defense but I gave the Jets too much credit.
The most amazing thing is that in those 52 seconds all THREE phases gave up a TD. The Defense, Offense and Special Teams. Un-Fucking-believable!
Yeah, that's when you know a team is hopeless, when everybody contributes to a loss in ways that are new and almost miraculous. This roster has less talent on it than any Jets roster I can recall since the mid-70's. It has less real upside potential than any roster since then either. There are very few players on the roster who are likely to grow in value over the next few seasons and many who will decline to age and injury. The coaching is hopeless. The reason I say this is that if a Mike Westhoff led unit can be good for a score for the other side every other game then there's just no hope. If a Rex Ryan led defense can be on a pace to allow 2,000 yards on the ground and 23 points a game there's no hope. The offense is just mailing it in at this point. They have no star power at all on that side and nobody capable of leading them to the kind of over-achievements required to get them to even a halfway decent finish. None of the units on the Jets is producing at a level that will get them to .500 by the end of the year even against a weak schedule. The opponents coming up aren't dreading playing the Jets, they're glad that they have a shot at a team that is as untalented and poorly coached as they are.
Spot on really. We all focus on rex and sanchez, but really the entire team on the field at the moment is mediocre at best, and terrible at the worst aside from one CB and the centre. Who is going to win with that? People go on about other coaches but who are the teams that are doing well? The Pats, the Niners, the Ravens, the Texans etc - guess what - the players on those teams are a lot better than the players on our team. We need to look at who is responsible for bringing in (or rather not bringing in) the talent.
When you watch it put together like this its almost comical - also how the hell did Sanchez just ram into Moore like that? Moore wasn't getting pushed back it was like he didn't see this 300Ib guy stood right in front of him http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap10...-new-york-jets-lost-in-60-seconds-vs-patriots I really wish it was possible to truly switch to supporting another team.
This team will NOT win out,,,we have a hard time winning one game an two in a row seems like a pipe dream,,let alone 5 wins straight :breakdance: Here's all you need to know,,,,Rex had zero plans on playing Tebow today,,McElroy was NOT active,,,,,,,Tebow has 2 broken ribs and Sanchez was going to keep playing no matter what,,,,,,,,if Sanchez had gotten hurt in this game just sayin No accountability ,,guys do not feel threatened and feel safe even after this performance ! Blow it up,,,,it's time,,,,top to bottom
And this is why Rex Ryan is a complete buffoon, because all he ever gives a shit about is the defense while there are major leaks everywhere else and does nothing to address the problem. You can't make this shit up, it's typical New York Jets football and it's a fucking disgrace.
That 52 sec's came as a result of going for it on 4th&1 on Pats 31 early in the second quater, surely the % play is to take the fg stick Brady on his 20 and go from there you are 3 -7 and well in the game instead 52 sec later you are 0 - 28 and staring into the abyss. If you do go for it then surely you dont try to run it straight up the center? To my uneducated eye it looked like a poor call to go for it and then a poorer play call on the execution.I could maybe understand going for it if you had a real redzone threat but the Jets offense isnt that, so it could be argued you are really going for it to have an easier fg try as you dont have a real td threat.
Where are all the people crying u can't beat the pats with FGs? I don't blame rex for going for it. To bad our oline can't push for shit in those situations. Everything else is just Jet luck. Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using Tapatalk 2
Forget greatness, how about competitive? Too many times Jets games aren't even competitive going into the 4th quarter. Even if the record is the same, I'm sure there's other coaches out there to at least get the team to show up & compete. I was @ the game & pissed at what I saw. Jets didn't even look like they gave a damn on the sidelines.
