Question: who cares? Answer: nobody cept hater darksiders who believe anything they read as long it reinforces their irrationally twisted hatred of the team that they supposedly root for.
best post yet. this is the media playing out the last pieces of the tebow story before it is gone and they have to actually find a story.
Whens Mr.T gonna do an interview , no one's heard from him since he got fired. He need's to come on the radio and throw Woody under the bus on this one
blah blah blah the question is, why do you care? Instead of focusing on the greatness which is Rex Ryan, you are fixated on the fans who think we're headed in the wrong direction. Since when is a fan not entitled to voice displeasure in his team? Convince us why you think we're headed in the right direction. Attacking us or blaming all our problems on the media is not going solve all the holes on the team.
The deal was Woody would praise Tanny publicly buying Tanny's silence. You can't tell me prospective GM wouldn't take Woody throwing his prior GM under the bus as a red flag. Btw, it was already stated on the record that Rex, Tanny & Woody made the decision together. You can see this culture of double talk comes straight from the top. All Woody had to say is WE made a bad decision and move forward. Just like the 3 year statement Woody made. If you didn't want Tebow then just don't make public statements to the contrary. Come on no big trades are made with out the owner's blessing. I suppose Sanchez was also "forced" on Woody too. Oh wait Woody will have to wait until he fires Rex and is interviewing prospective HC candidates before saying that.
If I owned the Jets and my GM tried "forcing" Tebow on me I would have made it real clear he was not going to have a job if that happened.
All they did is put him in a couple of plays a game and that was enough to guarantee attention even money can't buy. He's not even a starting player and he's got his own section on the forum. It's no secret the coaches had no intention of playing him and Woody loves attention. Just because Woody won't admit it was a business decision doesn't mean it wasn't.
lol, this is like the Scott Kazmir trade with the Mets. Ninety different other guys made the move and nobody ever has taken the blame for it. Woody's own public statements ('you can't have too much Tebow' and 'he'll be here the next three years') belie this.
I know, just when you think it couldn't get anymore ridiculous it does. Woody will be soon "forced" by his new GM to get rid of Tebow.
What would be gained by him in doing anything other than laying low for a bit? I'm sure Woody gave him a generous settlement on his contract after the years he worked for the Jets. He can pop up again when everything has settled down and see what's next in his NFL career.
