I think Ferguson allowed quite a bit of sacks last year. More than usual.

^Brick was awesome this year. He had a down year in 2011.

slaussen was given 800K by chicago

we should have given him 1.5M to keep him and still stay well under the cap

also what ever happened to landry the ss we had in for a visit over a week ago------was he offered a contract????? havent read anything about it

if we take the three picks from tampa-----sign landry and peterman and have signed slaussen jets would be a nice team in 2013

Its also possible the team thinks ducasse can step in, and trading one old guy for another (moore/colon) was a wash....potentially an upgrade.

The only way to tell is to see how Colon plays against NE.

  5. Whether he's dependable yet or not..Ducasse outplayed Slauson last year.Slauson is an average player at best & he'll fit right in with that long time struggling OL in Chicago.

^Agreed. I think Ducasse has more upside than Slauson, although I liked Slauson as a rotational depth player.

It was 2011 where he allowed more sacks than WFH and was amongst the worst tackles in the league. In 2012 he redeemed himself and barely let any through and was back near the top. Funny thing is he made the pro bowl in 2011 but not 2012. Fans are dumb.
