If the Rangers can beat the Devils on Saturday, the Senators only have to lose once against either the Flyers or Bruins and the Rangers will play Washington as the 6th seed
Playing the Caps the lesser of the 3 evils, Sens have Flyers and Bruins left, Devils will play to the death Saturday...
I can see how anyone with any sort or personal pride might assume that, but that whole bunch of losers are going to be too busy thinking about their flights to the Caribbean, their hooker appointments, and tee times at Pebble Beach to be any sort of competition. They're just going to lay down and die while the Rangers beat them to a pulp
I was so fucking ready to blast Torts and say fire his ass and soooooooo fire Mike Sullivan again. These fuckers live to fight another day...Its because our Captain showed up today and dropped a hammer on these fools. Sam Rosen always with clutch calls "CAPTAIN CALLAHAN SCORES!...THE RANGERS ARE GOIN TO THE PLAYOFFS"
Thats why Cally's the leader Poe...the elbow to the head came after he hurt his leg, don't know the severity though
Btw congrats to JE's Senators making it. Karlsson coming back is a shock, and honestly could help them win a round now
fellas, while I'm happy as hell they're in, if last night's perfromance was indicative of what we can expect in the playoffs, it will be a short run. Sloppy! and jesus, i guess it's better to let Hank face 30+ shots, he sucks when the opponent is in the teens.
Thanks. He played 27 minutes last night, had eight shots and two helpers, and looked like he'd never missed a game. Huge, huge boost to have him back. Could really use the Rangers losing on Saturday please. I don't fancy us to get three points from Philly and @Boston, especially on a back to back, and I don't want to play Boston in round one.
I think if we get the Penguins it will be a war in game 1. Kassian, Neil and Smith will have to send a message very early on that no-one takes liberties with us, and especially not Cooke. I'd rather have them than Boston, but I think we'll struggle with either. I really want the Caps, we match up well with them. Boston have our number. The Penguins would be a good series as would Montreal, but I can't see us getting fifth spot.
Injury updates: -Brian Boyle still out indefinitely -Ryan Callahan was hit in the hand last night but is believed to be ok -Ryan Clowe was injured last night but is expected to be back for Round 1 of the Playoffs -Derek Dorsett has been practicing with a no-contact jersey, will have CT Scan to try to be cleared for contact sometime likely within the next 24-48 hours. -No update on Marc Staal -Still nothing on Michael Sauer
