We have yet to see Josh Bush and Antonio Allen play extended reps let's see what they have to offer. I liked Josh Bush when we drafted him. Scouting reports always talked about his ability to play sideline to sideline. Did we not believe Allen was a sleeper?

Sorry. This just isn't true. Bush is a converted corner(before his senior year)And his skillset is the exact opposite of this. He's a smooth movement coverage type best suited for cover 2 & 3. Meanwhile he's smallish & doesn't have much experience in run support.
yea let's move the #1 rated college CB and #13 overall pick to another position, that makes a lot of sense. How many teams have an ELITE safety? very few. It isn't necessary. I would MUCH rather have an elite CB than an elite safety
This part is wrong. Strong safety rotation ensures powerful defense. All good defenses have it except Jets. In fact, Jets don't have good OLB rotation either - which is precisely why it breaks down at crunch time more often than not. It's about time Jets invested in these actually - they didn't draft a blue-chipper in these positions for years.
Thinking about it in hindsight, this probably isn't the greatest idea...I'm just hoping we can find a gem between Allen, Bush and Miles. I am sick of 1-2 year stopgaps.
Rhodes would only come here for something like a 3-4yr deal with some serious cash guarantees, - notwithstanding the feud he may have with Rex Ryan. He's hoping someone with a legit playoff chance like the PATS come calling midway through training camp.
Screw Kerry Rhodes. That dicksucker quit on this team and I have no confidence that he would be effective in this defense.
we haven't really seen them play.last year they were behind 2 good players on the depth chart. how about we give them a chance before we spend money and time on a 30something who is not on a team right now for a reason?
