at the beginning of the year that we would be 4-3 coming off a victory against NE headed to Cinci while developing a rookie QB, how many people would have taken that?

I damn sure am happy where we are. I think we have a shot in hell at Cinci but cant see us beating NO. Go into the BYE 5-4 and we can realistically think about the playoffs.

Cincinnati is riding higher than a kite. It's time for a let down. Can they beat us solely with the passing game? Not sure they will run much on us...will see. Of course the D will have to(as always) play lights out, but you never know.

I would sign up for that too. You gotta remember the moral was low this past offseason.

It's funny how you just can't bring yourself to seeing us beat NO but the team we JUST beat, beat them last week.

NY Jet fans are the worst.

You are the worst. Go get Aids tonight please. Why does every thread have to turn confrontational? I am giving my opinion. Go beat off with a spiked glove.

I may be in the minority, but I think the Bengals will be a tougher game than New Orleans.
Cincinnati has a very formidable defense; and the Saints outside their dome aren't nearly
    as unbeatable.

media writes us off way too much, which works to our advantage. although i would've said 4-3 without the win from NE and a win with Pitt

Not a bad point. Defense is pretty damn tough. And that game is on the road. Thanks for a rational analysis instead of trying to pop shit about my opinion like others.......

Bengals play tough at home and Geno also not so good on the road except the Falcons game. I don't see us winning there but Saints game is up for grabs. Saints don't play tough on the road and cold air will definitely play a factor when they come here.

Even if we lose both games we will be 4-5 and will play 7 games that aren't as tough as the first half games. 8 wins this season is a big possibility and I will take it in a rebuilding season in a heartbeat.

Agreed. I said 8-8 at the start of the year but 9-7 could be a real possibility. I just see us being able to rattle Dalton easier then Brees. Plus Jimmy Graham scares be big time. but Antonio Allen could be the new TE killer....

We're 1 game behind NE and tie in division. For a rebuilding team, I'll take that. This is the same team, with the exact same personnel that couldn't get out of their own way last year. Amazing what good QB play can do for you.

Our schedule have been rough. Seems like the NFL have a lot more good team these days.

4-3 is a great place to be! Win/Loss/Win/Loss/Win/Loss/Win. We are bipolar as Hell, but I'll take it.

Why does 50% of the posts on TGG have to be anti-Jets?

    I swear to god.

Half the posts on here are bashing the media for bashing the Jets.

The other half are bashing the Jets.

"No way we beat the Bucs, they're a playoff team with the best DB in football". "Falcons will KILL us 45-0". "Gronk will out-score the Jets all by himself". "Just can't see us competing with the Saints".

Sorry toon...it's not on you, but after our biggest win of the year I just can't take anymore negativity. Tomorrow maybe...just not tonight.

Would be nice to feast on the dolphins a couple time this year and finish the sweep with the bills. Very possible. With 2 more wins outside division could put us at 9-7.

If trend continues, we will lose in Cincinati and win against Saints.

That's because we don't have that tall franchise go-to WR which a lot of good teams have. That's why this off season can be so special.
