Who actually likes the Titans of New York uniforms? Yeah, it looks so out of place when they wore them, but I did have a soft spot for them. I managed to find a site that sells them made by Nike or at least the equivalent of them. Either way, I would really like to see us wear throwbacks more often. I always like the Sack Exchange era unis, so I really wanna see them again for even just one game. And maybe one game or two on the 50th anniversary of Super Bowl III, they can wear jerseys similar in look to them.
I have always liked the Titans jerseys and remember we did really well when we wore them back in 09 or 10. That said i hate when we wear them. To me when i watch the jets play in them i don't feel like I'm watching a jets game. The jerseys hem selves are cool but just not as a Jets jersey.
I don't think they look bad at all but they don't look like the Jets. It's a 3 year era very few Jet fans were around to experience. They should do a 60s/70s throwback(yes the uni's we have now are similar but not identical) or an 80s throwback but w/ the new NFL rule about changing helmets we likely won't see an 80s throwback.
Those jerseys look like horse shit... They should rock the Kelly Green throwbacks... Would be so sick.
a new rule? i could swear they did throwback helmets too. i really like throwbacks from all the teams, and i dont think i have seen any this year. is that something that is not happening this year? i honestly like most of hte throwback unis much more than the current unis.
as uniforms they're not all that bad, but to me they represent a shameful and forgettable part of this franchises history. They're not our colors, and "Titans" was just a knockoff of giants. That team was mediocre and played in front of about 5,000 a game. Why would we ever want to go back to that era. Other than a tiny handful old fans...who would be nostalgic for it?
teams are allowed to use 1 helmet per year so unless the color is the same and they can change decals they won't use the throwback helmets. SL did it last week(or 2 weeks ago) but all they had to do was change the color of the horns, TB was supposed to use the old white helmets and scrapped those plans when this rule was announced.
Why not? Shit they looked pretty good when I designed them in Madden <_< You make it similar to the Ravens, Black Unis and instead of purple put Green in that shit. Plus, there is a psychological attachment to NFL uniforms. Imitation factor. I was a psychology major, sue me damnit.
The Ravens black and purple uni's are hideous. we are all entitle to our opinions, I wouldn't like it. How has the psychological attachment helped the raiders in recent years? jags, Panthers, etc...?
The purple and black represent the color of the actual bird the Raven. It has a blackish/purplish hue. Green and black just looks like pure awefulness. And I intend on suing you :grin: _
