Of course he would be a first round pick and still maybe first corner off the board. The guy was amazing in Alabama theres a reason he was a top ten pick last year. Its not like he was a reach at 9.

he never had the ball skills this corners do have. Imo Darqueze dennard looks by far a better prospect then milliner not mocking but denard just jumps your eye out a bit like Revis.

Milliner would be the best CB prospect this year, no doubt. Rookie CBs are notorious for struggling more than any other position. Milliner is and was more highly rated than Gilbert or Dennard. He has the athletic gifts of Gilbert but much more refined technique.

Dennard is twice the player Milliner is or ever will be.

Milliner will be good, but DD is the next Richard Sherman.

When they did that sports testing thing on Milliner they said his talent was off the chart, maybe even as good as 'Antonio Cromartie'. hahaha.

Dennard does not have the speed of Richard Sherman. He is much closer to Revis' type of play. That does not mean he will be as successful against NFL receivers.

They were referring to his natural athletic ability, not his technique.

Milliner cant tackle and isn't physical this is why he will never be an elite CB.

That is very surprising to me, Sherman is known as one of the fastest players on the team. Dennard is 4 inches shorter than Sherman though.

You making these things up? That's not why Millner was bad up until the last 4 or 5 games

Milliner is physical and can tackle. His struggles in the beginning of the season were confidence issues. He played tentatively, something you can't do against NFL receivers. His college game tape and measurables still would have ranked him as the top corner in this draft.

its easy to judge now that you've seen milliner play a year in the nfl..but go back pre draft last year.. there were many picking milliner for the browns at pick 6…he was highly rated coming out of alabama

Did YOU watch Dee play last year is the question. Millner displayed pretty bad awareness, and poor technique.

I just dont see it. Milliner reminds me a lot of Leon Hall--decent #1 CB in the NFL who was much better in college.

As far as how Dee will do in the NFL, it is impossible to know until another season or two in the league. Leon Hall has been considered a top 10 CB for most of his career in the league, but is older now. If Milliner is that I will be glad, and if you wouldn't be satisfied by that then you have just been spoiled by Revis. Every NFL player was much better in college, it's the nature of playing against much weaker talent.

The point of this thread isn't Milliner's future NFL career anyway, it was what his draft stock coming out of college would be compared to the top CB's this year, and that would undoubtedly be higher.
