Jets have claimed former Browns corner, Leon McFadden, off waivers.

Sounds like he had a pretty bad preseason. Speaking of bad, did Lequan Lewis seriously make this team?

That's funny. I said yesterday I was trying to talk myself into thinking that was a good move.

He was a 3rd round pick for the "one strike and you're out" Browns. This is probably about as good of a CB pickup as was available.

Edit: By the way, who lost their spot? Josh Bush?

Question is who get's cut for Leon. Is it gonna be Lequan Lewis? Or Quincy Enunwa?

Apparently Leon McFadden has looked horrible since the day he was drafted. Had horrific preseason and drawed way to many penalties.

I don't like this move....THAT IS...if this is their solution. They need to make a bigger move at CB. Leon is a project that should be at the bottom of the depth chart.

Agreed, besides Bailey (whose 36) there is really nobody of any merit out there besides the guys who never signed with teams to begin with like Samuel, Florence, etc. Maybe we catch lightning in a bottle or something.

I don't think they've announced a corresponding move yet. I'm guessing Lewis, could be Bush though.

Who do you want though? Short of a trade I think we're kind of just screwed at this position right now. Just gotta hope Milliner performs (when he comes back) and somebody like Walls steps up.

Only other options are guys like Bailey, Samuel, Florence, and it doesn't appear many teams are interested in them to begin with.

McFadden is certainly worth a look. Maybe Rex can do something with him. Really a no risk move.

BTW- Typically Browns-like that they drafted him one spot ahead of Tyrann Mathieu.

Sorta like how we drafted Hill 2 spots before Jeffery

We also drafted Stephen Hill a couple picks before Alshon Jeffrey lol you are right though worth a look. Nothing lost if he doesn't pan out

Exactly. We're screwed. Idzik messed up.

As far as trade...my preference is to try and trade for Jason McCourty. Second is Jonathan Joseph. After that maybe sign Champ Bailey or Drayton Florence cheap. Other than that...there's not much to do

The old guys that haven't signed with a team may have to wait till after week 1 to avoid guarantee contracts.
i wouldn't be surprised if we take a look at one of them monday after the raiders game if millner and/or allen aren't looking like they will be ready for week 2

This is such a dumb point that way too many people are trying to make.

I think that's the most likely scenario as well.

I don't ever make the point but it not any more dumb than him saying its Browns - like to draft McFadden before Mathieu
