This isn't about how he should play more or take majority of the snaps, that thread already exists. This is just a thread to point out how good Ivory looks. We have something special with him if he can stay healthy.

    33 Attempts
    189 Yards
    5.7 YPC
    2 TD

He impressed me out of the backfield too last night. He usually has drop issues but he was breaking tackles and getting a lot of yards after catch.

He's easily our best runningback. He plays hard.

Yeah the dude just imposes his will. I think the coaching staff was trying to tire out the D the last two weeks by getting Johnson going early, and then punishing them with Ivory the tackle breaker late. I've been saying since the offseason we should be pounding Ivory, who actually makes the defense respect the run game and tire them out, then put in CJ when they are tired and take bad angles while CJ is fresh and can make people miss.

Yeah, Ivory needs to be the between the tackles guy. Johnson needs to stick to screen passes and perimeter run plays.

Ivory deserves a better offensive coordinator. I get he's not the most durable back but if he's figuring things out, don't shy away from using him. Doesn't matter what Chris Johnson wants, you go with the hot hand. The coaches promised this and it is clear they aren't holding true to that.

Johnson needs to sit on the bench and let powell and ivory take care of business.

Ivory needs to stop seeking out guys bigger than he is and taking them on. He might avoid injury if he does. Of course, then he would not be Ivory. He would be Lee White.

That's like telling Marshawn Lynch to run around guys, not through them.

That's the way they run. That's what makes them who they are.

Maybe it was just preseason and it made him look better than he is.. but I thought Bilal Powell looked like the perfect complimentary back to Ivory! He has some speed going through the holes, even though he's not a break away-back. Anyone get what I'm trying to say?

they are both tough guys, Ivory is just a bit more ostentatious about it. and i think Ivory is a little faster.

Another thought, where the fuck was Ivory for the last quarter of the game? Was he injured? If not, MM is a complete moron because anyone with eyes could see that Ivory is 1000x times better than Johnson and Bilal Powell needs more touches.
