Ha. When oh when has Idzik ever made a good move? Oh besides Sheldon Richardson I'm tired of that crap. This guy is a zero!
No harm in stashing him on the PS - the biggest indictment of this strategy is having him on the roster in the first place.
Idzik's cap space ideology in business, "see now what we're gonna do is make sure we cut costs, don't spend a dime on improving anything, make sure our expenses are at 0, but then be the most profitable business in the world. Even if our competitors are better than us and we go out of business we can at least say we cut costs!" Fuckin moron idzik is
Manish Mehta @MMehtaNYDN 21m Jets will be signing WR Chris Owusu, who was recently cut by the Bucs, I'm told. #nyj
The jury is still out on JI and admittedly I dont know much about him, but it really doesnt look good for this guy
Not a good look Idzik...all those draft picks and we have VERY little to show for it right now. I have no reason to feel like any other team should have seen enough to add Saunders to their roster so I assume we will just pick him up on our practice squad...this draft is shaping up very poorly but of course if we were 3-1 I would care less if we dropped a 4th rounder
You know, we could have easily have picked Kelvin Benjamin who is doing work in Carolina instead of Pryor
I'll agree with your trade-up argument. LaGrecca said this over & over on ESPN/NY radio and he was right. 12 was too many picks because there werent enough roster spots for them. Even 8 picks is tough. Better to have traded up at some point. But to be fair, B. Dixon + J. George were taken from ou PS to another team's active roster. T. Boyd was just a bad pick period --- even for the end of the 6th round.
Unacceptable. As I've stated before, we should have traded one of our fourth round picks for Lee or Matthews. Who the hell uses all twelve picks?
I know everyone wants to kill last year's draft, and I can't pretend I don't have my serious misgivings so far. But . . . 4 games guys . . . 4 games.
john schneider cut a 4th round pick his first year at seattle. also in his first year he traded i think either a 3rd or 4th round pick for charlie whitehurst the seahawks went 7-9 the season after they drafted most of their star players. give it time
