amaro george (poached to jags roster) dixon (poached to tb roster) bohanon is an nfl fullback aboushi geno winters all would be on most rosters as depth at worst, we don't know much else since he has only been on the job for 22 games. if we are going to fire g.m.'s after 2 years we might as well fold up the tent. holy shit, madden has ruined nfl fans
it takes time to process the info. we need some stat freak to get the yards per quarters for the super bowl seasons
It was the best loss I've ever seen. You couldn't lose any better than we did on sunday. We certainly showed the Broncos who was boss..
I concur. The team is still playing for him. With the exception of San Diego, they've been competitive this season, but you can't expect to win competitive games with limited options on offense. 8-8 after running this early season murderer's row would be impressive.
holy shit you make this easy... Amaro young promise that is it george/dixon not helping us Geno is on his way out because he cant go one game without a turn over am I the only one who notice the line play got better with winters out? Aboushi young promise Bohanaon would not be on 20 other nfl rosters Sorry but 20 draft picks and 2 free agency periods and he has produced 4 nfl players period. 2 of them he did not draft. face it the gm and scouts suck ass and done crap to merit any faith in them PS I dont play madden asswipe that game has sucked and not improved since 2008
Perfect example was the Kyle Wilson backing off and giving Welker 10 yards on 3rd and 6 or whatever it was when if we make a stop we get the ball back outside of 2 minutes and not pinned at the 2 yard line.
let me put it nlike this if we went tinto the season with hoels at wr, db, oline you would expect with the resources we had to fix one area and still have money left over for next yr Did he fill any hole? Name one hole he filed where next yr we do not have to address again next yr db? wr? oline? and now qb this team has regressed and you must be high not to see that.
But he hasn't exactly been far away from winning one, I mean when you phrase that way as opposed to: "In the past 9 seasons the Bill Bellichick has 2 Super Bowl appearances, 5 total AFC Championship game appearances, and 8 division titles" It sounds a little better when you say it the second way, doesn't it?
Your memory is correct, while the Jets D number wise might have been better your point is something Junc champions all the time and I agree with him. Don't just look at the numbers, in many big spots Rex's D folds like a cheap suit. Yes they have great numbers and they look impressive but it's like I told some SDSU fan I know who was claiming what a great RB Hillman is and is going to be.... watch the game, don't just look at the box score. I think 4 times this year we've given up a TD in the last 2 minutes of a half. Elite D's don't do that and with the amount of 1st rounders our D has they should be stopping everyone in the final 2 minutes of a half. On to your point about the Pats, yes the D was better than people remember but they made virtually no mistakes in any phase of the game. How many KO returns? How many interceptions, how many fumbles? Antwoin Smith never fumbled the ball, Kevin Faulk never fumbled. Brady's garbage receivers never dropped passes. He was throwing to shit like David Patton, Deion Branch and Christian Fuaria. Not exactly elite WR's.
Yeah and being in the wrong place when the play call says you're supposed to be somewhere else. And of course no communication esp between the D backs. As for Wilson he has few coverage skills. He has no choice but to give too much cushion.
Well I think you can make a distinction between a Super Bowl dynasty and an NFL dynasty. I would say the Patriots SB dynasty stretched from the 2001-2005 seasons, but they have generally dominated the NFL from 2006-2013. Anyway it doesn't really matter what you call it, the point is Belichick has played to the team's strengths better than most coaches in football, while spending his early years on the defensive side of the ball.
