Excuses Junc, nothing but excuses. The fact is the Jets didn't win that on extra game game so we'll never know, and your best defense of not winning the games is to say "well so and so did this or that". Just excuses at this point.

It is going to be interesting, he is on a 6-2 team that is headed for the playoffs. I believe if they stick with Mark Sanchez they will win the Super Bowl this season. There is no "breaking in" process, the time is now, Sanchez can do it, we saw him raise his level of play in the playoffs on many occasions, the NFC is wide open. I don't buy Arizona, so hopefully Arizona gets the top seed, because if Philly had to go to Arizona to get back to Arizona for 49, I believe they could beat them.

Hmmm Eagles defense is not very good and I don't like Sanchez in shootouts. That said, this is the NFL. You get in the dance win a couple of playoff games and all of the sudden the impossible becomes possible.

True but thats why I am hoping the Super Bowl runs through Arizona. That would be perfect. Realistically though, the NFC North will be the 4th seed, so if Arizona is the 1 seed, then whoever wins the NFC East will have to be either the #3 or #2 seed.

If Philly had to go to Dallas, that does not scare me, if Philly had to go to Arizona, that does not scare me. What scares me is going to Green Bay, and going to New Orleans. If Philly wins the division they won't have to go New Orleans, and if they can manage to have a better record than Green Bay then they wont have to go there either. Its entirely possible the Lions win that division, they are a game up and have beat the Packers. So if Mark Sanchez just has to go through Detroit and Arizona, I know he can. This would be best situation:

    #1 Arizona
    #2 Philly
    #3 Detroit
    #4 New Orleans
    #5 Dallas
    #6 Green Bay/Seattle

So go Detroit! and go Arizona! I am your biggest fans from here on out, Detroit can take the 2 seed to, I would be cool with that, as long as you can avoid Green Bay and the Super Dome!

    The NFL hates the Jets.

If Philly gets close, Sanchez will get Manning/Bradyesque protection from the refs.

Lol his arm cost us MOST of our losses those seasons.. and almost cost us some wins too.. He had to make up for his poor play with plenty of clutch plays... i can understand why there is a split in the fan base on whether he was good or not. All i know is the jets sabotages QB's and WR's for the last 4 years now.. i think mark will do fine in Philly, but it was definitely time for a change here. I stuck with mark until the butt fumble

I was with Mark until the ARZ or TEN game. We didn't have a viable backup which made it easier to stick with Mark. I just lost faith in him and realized he was shot, needed a fresh start.

Honestly though, as the Jets and Giants seasons dissipate, this Sanchez story is going to grow bigger and bigger in the NY area if the Eagles keep winning, because it has a direct impact on both teams. Jets let him go, Giants are in the same division. How perfect its setting up for him, come back to NY week 17 and stick it to everyone that hated on him since he was drafted.

man that Tennessee game was just flat out sad. That was one of the first time i considered just being a free agent NFL fan until we got a new QB...

the facts are we made it 2 rounds further than the Pats so winning the division meant nothing. we wouldn't have hosted title game either way.

w/ similar talent, no Brady and weaker sched we couldn't make playoffs w/ HOFer in 2008. That's a fact, not an excuse.

tell me the games he cost us?

but he was telling me how great Mangini was and how Mangini is better than Rex. Rex sucks according to most folks now so why would that make a difference anyway? we had a HOF QB!
