If Mark Sanchez pulls a Jim Plunkett with the Eagles, then all I can say is we are definitely cursed.
...7...8...9...10! WE CAN COUNT! Or maybe we can go ahead and see if our Manchez crush actually matters for more than one week.
The WVU fan in me gave me hope that Geno would be that dude.. I still think like sanchez, on another team Geno would do way better than here.
Everything is great until the pick 6s start accumulating. It'll be interesting to see what happens then. No more nicey nicey. And you think Tone could be a hardass. And as for the fans. They booed Santa Clause.
lol are you serious? What games did he cost us? I'm not gonna go in detail of every game over the coarse of 4 years but be real we all know. He was carried into the playoffs by a great defense, o-line, & run game. 2010 was a good year because the games resulted in wins and he had all the game winning drives..cool, but in all those games he didn't play good throughout the game (exclude the Houston game.. best game of his career IMO). Our defense was forcing late game punts and shit saving us giving us chances that most team wouldn't get. However when all that magic was gone and it was time for him to be the "SANCHIZE" he folded badly, REGRESSED, LOST CONFIDENCE, and SUCKED. I know the team was also on a decline but he wasn't exactly a bright spot at all in the process. I think he's good and will do good in philly...this team just seems to sabotage players...but don't act like he didn't have PLENTY of TERRIBLE games here.
It wouldnt suprise me at all. If there was a year to do it, its this year.... If Arizona is the #1 seed, and the Lions can win the north. If the Eagles were to get the #2 seed, they could be looking at a home game against Detroit, and then a road NFC Championship in Arizona. Thats not farfetched at all, and right now Arizona has the top seed and has the tiebreaker while Detroit has the same record as Philly. I mean this proposition of #1 Arizona, #2 Philly, #3 Detroit is not far off. Detroit already beat Green Bay to......Detroits lost to 1 AFC team and 1 NFC team so even if Detroit loses to Green Bay, they still should end up with tie breaker (long ways to go but right now they have the advantage).
LOL...3 minutes I was way under. I actually thought it would take 10 seconds before you responded. It's sad your that predictable.
stop it... look it up yourself.. look how many 0 TD games he had with multiple picks and fumbles to go along with that.. You can be in the dream world of the past (our last two playoff seasons) and act like sanchez was the main reason for the success if you want... You know deep down thats all bullshit though
give me the list of games HE was most responsible for losing in those first 2 seasons? I don't act like he was the main reason b/c he wasn't but I don't make asinine statements that he wasn't part of it at all. He was vital to both runs.
Sanchez's time was never up here, we just didnt build around him. Can you name a single QB in the league that had as an inept of an offense as Sanchez had? Kerley was his #1 reciever? I mean? what? Look at guys like Kaepernick, Cutler, Ryan, Flacco......all loaded with guys around them to help them succceed. You cannot succeed as a QB if you dont have a single playmaker, even the bad teams have playmakers. The Jets had none, yet you all expected him to raise his game to Peyton Mannings level? and you call us the crazy people...... Sanchez was a victim of failed roster management that focused on improving the already #1 ranked defense. I mean what a genius move right? the Jets already have the #1 defense in 2009, #3 defense in 2010? Lets ignore the offense and try to improve the defense even more by drafting Kyle wilson and Quinton Coples...... I mean had they paid a tad of attention to the offense, things could have been so much different. The Jets were always going to have a top 10 defense, we didn't need a better defense, yet they continued to focus on it more and more.
33 INT's and 19 Fumbles and we still went to the AFC Chip twice.. that's all i need to say about his first two years. With a #1 & #3 ranked defense and a #1 & #4 ranked rushing offense. Dont say he didn't make some games harder than they should have been with tall those turnovers. I didnt say he wasnt a part of it at all.. it just seemed like your giving the guy too much credit because you defend him as if he's something truly special... he's not.
Oh yeah that was the day the Jets ran up the score on the Falcons 7-3. Atlanta ended up scoring 10 points that day. The Jets scored 7 points. Yeah it wasn't on sanchez; he torched Atlanta for a whopping 7 points…..and this after being given a short field on several occassions to boot. Atlanta got their FG off of a Sanchez pick. The Jet QBs lost that game: Sanchez' THREE interceptions and Clemens flubbing the snap on a 19-yard (read: PAT) FG. 7 Points.
give me the list, it should be easy. I don't want phony rankings out of context, tell me the games HE lost for us?
