Richard Sherman just used a press conference to absolutely annihilate the league. Considering Colin Kaepernick was fined $10,000 just for wearing Beats headphones, I'm guessing Sherman's got a letter coming to him in the mail. Same goes for cardboard Doug Baldwin. He crushed them though Watch: http://deadspin.com/richard-sherman-mocks-nfl-with-brilliant-press-conferen-1663377486
Sherman has rubbed me the wrong way before, but that was fucking awesome. AWESOME. He's going to get fined like a motherfucker but I hope he wins the appeal.
I don't even know what he did. Haven't clicked the links i've seen for it yet. But I really dislike this man. I just am not a fan of guys who feel the need to always be outspoken and "educate" everyone else.
Not a huge fan Sherman but this was great. We all know the NFL is hypocritical and funny to see people take shots at Roger
What i'm saying is I dont not like him because of this. I just dont like him in general. I probably havent clicked on it cause I dont want a reason to like him haha
Didn't find it particularly funny, but I do agree with the ridiculous fines for "media" violations. As far as the beer ads and the product endorsements the NFL signs, the players get a nice percentage of that money. Sherman is now the player rep for the Seahawks, so he has a voice in changing things. For me, this came off as just another "look at me" thing for him to do, since he hasn't been that great of a CB this year....
The NFL should probably do away with all player interviews anyways. Its the same scripted answers everytime. Unless something out of the ordinary happens I really dont give a shit what any player , or coach for that matter , has to say about the game. Writers can write their articles without the broken english quotes from the players. It would eliminate these pointless fines and knock these horrible writers/reporters down a peg.
Loved loved loved it and I really dislike the guy big time. He probably will be fined more than Marshawn Lynch.
My first question... There's a company that makes cardboard cutouts of Doug Baldwin? Is there really a big demand for them? They definitely get creativity points. Part of me finds it a little annoying though. Most of us are working our asses off to make ends meet. If you want to pay me millions each year I'll talk to the media as much as you tell me to. And as fans, we contribute to the demand for news. If Lynch can't stop being a media-reclusive idiot for 10 minutes a week that's his problem and his decision. Especially since he does a lot of chirping (via the same media) about his contract situation. That said there were some really good points raised in a pretty bold way.
Lych just needs to talk. Even if he may stutter or whatever the reason is just answer the question and keep it moving. Watching him interviewed last week at first was funny but then after 2mins of one word answers I started to feel embarrassed for him. Ima usin Tapatalkie.
