Enough with the glass menagerie ie... McDougle, Milliner, Harvin. get people who stay healthy.

Jones has a 25 year track record, that is history.
Idzik has 2 years; not exactly historical yet.

Well if he won't restructure he's gone. Draft Cooper.

The Cowboys will survive with their O line. They'll let murray walk and sign Dez. its a no brainer

Whether he comes back or not his decision shouldn't effect Cooper. If we can't or don't want to draft Winston or Mariota the pick should be Cooper regardless.

Seriously, you can see the peabrained narrative being spewed. The Jets can restructure Harvin without asking him to take a paycut, stupid people like Mehta just assume restructuring IS a paycut.

The Jets can lower Harvin's cap number for 2015 by moving some of that money into future years in the form of guaranteed money and actually give that money up front to him instead of making him wait for it in the form of game checks, it works for both sides.

That's exactly what they will do, Jerry isn't going to let his prize pig Dez walk in order to pay a runningback. Never in a million years.

Harvin is the only play maker we have, letting him go would be a huge mistake.

He will restucture for less money, but not 5-6 mil. 8-9 is more likely, unless he just wants out of town.

True, but " harvin deal should be easy for jets to navigate" does not get hits

I don't get the point of cutting 1mm but offsetting it with multi year guarantees. Think he should be paid comparable to decker at 7-8 especially given his injury risk. Also a high fourth round pick could be valuable this draft if you think about some of the WRs and RBs like Sammy Coates or David Cobb that could be available.

Does the police post pictures of there informants on street corners ?If he gives up his sources publicly no one will ever tell him anything again ,you guys clearly don't get what these guys do.Its funny that Jets fans complain every time Manish posts another article but you never see the Franchise coming foward to say its bs only Jets fans do

Normally I would agree, but in this case his source could literally be one of a handful of people. Either Harvin himself, Harvin's agent, or a source close to Harvin. Either way I'm skeptical that Harvin would be unwilling to take guaranteeed money to reduce his cap hit. It doesn't make sense and Manish has been wrong mang times before.

What a stupid post. Police informants get murdered if they are discovered.

Obviously it isn't the same fate but its the same in alot of ways. What good comes from a journalist outing his sources? If he was lying about everything he would have gotten fired along time ago

You know if Idzik is the GM and Harvin takes a cut, he will not pick Cooper.
