I think Rex is going to fit in nicely with that town and he's going to build a team that fits its personality. No gimmes in Buffalo while he's there. _
I thought you said "he" meaning Incognito, but rereading I see you said "we" and I agree 1000%. Business-like, serious professionals. The opposite of a Hard Knocks team. Unless we draft Winston and then the doors get blown off _
I think Richie has paid his dues and should get another chance to play. But as usual Rex puts his foot in his big mouth. First saying the Bills are going to be bullies and now signing the biggest bully in the NFL. Rex is going to have to keep his eye on this. Richie has been a troublemaker wherever he's been. And he could fuck up their locker room. He has to tell him from Day 1 to cut out the off the field crap and just come to work and do his job.
This is funny lol Yeah I agree. I think it's pretty clear the circus has left this town. Bowles at head coach is the polar opposite of Rex Ryan. Maybe this is something we've needed.
If Incognito was a decent player this would make sense. But there's very small upside to this signing.
Nope. I really don't understand it. It is clear that Rex does some things to get headlines and make his team "known". I don't understand the signing at all. He's not very good and he has a very bad history of being not only a piss poor person, but a cancer in the locker room.
This is a very Rex-like move. We saw it here when we traded for Santonio but atleast that was a major move that had a good chance of paying off for us. Its more of Rex thinking he can get any player to toe the company line and coach him up. Incognito is a different level of crazy though, cant see this working out well. Id guess he doesnt make it past training camp with them. Probably more likely due to bad play.
You mean like losing by 20 and 35 to Buffalo in 2014? Somehow I think the Jets will play them better in 2015.
Richie is capable of being a good starting guard for Rex. But he's also a dirty player. I guess Rex doesn't care. He never was too concerned about penalties now was he.
That reason is Todd Bowles. I think this team is gonna take off with this guy. Obviously, it's what we all hope, but I really believe that with this guy. As for GM, I was very wrong about Idzik so I'll let that play out before I say anything, but I really really liked the Bowles hire. I have a strong feeling the entire culture here changes dramatically.
Actually Bills Jets games until this season were always real good games. I always tried to get tickets for this game.
Just another typical Rex move. Vick, Plaxico, Santonio. The list goes on and on. I am so glad I'm not forced to root for another a-hole like Incognito because Rex thinks he can change him. The guy was voted the dirtiest player by his peers. He was out of football for all of 2014. 32 teams and no one needed a guard? We'll see how the Bowles era turns out, but already it is so nice to not be the headline grabbing circus franchise.
Thats what you base your opinions on? David Garrard was a Pro Bowl QB. Did that signing make sense for the Jets when they made it?
