I'll stick around so you can kiss my ass when Beasley is racking up the sacks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Your obvious fetish for having men urinate on you is your business. Football is mine. Stick around, Son. I'll give you a free education.
1) our 4-12 seasons in my mind was a very good thing. some giant homers here may have been delusional and thought we had a shot to make the playoffs but any smart fan new that prior 8-8 season was fools gold. that was year 1 of a rebuild. the smart thing was to gain cap space and suck enough to get a qb/impact player. we got leonard williams and cleared 50m in cap space. thats a win in my book 2) its hard to win when you have the worst qb in football. it just goes to show how excellent a job rex did those first 2 years. no team wins consistently with a bottom 5 qb. if you think the difference between making the playoffs or having a losing season the past few years was on the coach and not qb/roster you need to reevaluate things
4-12 after you gut the roster for a rebuild is nto embarassing, its expected some fans couldnt accept we were rebuilding. they were delusional
How was the defense deteriorating we were ranked 6th overall without a cornerback,Some of you guys re create history I swear. You see things that never happend I really have no idea what your talking about with that statement.Points allowed is one stat and you expect that to go up when Walls and Wilson are starting
Ranked 6th based on what? Meaningless yards per game? Jets ranked 24th in points allowed and 32nd in turnovers.
You are joking right? Points is the only stat that matters. Points allowed increased each year, not just last year! The Jets gave up 164 more points in 2014 than 2009. How is that not a telling stat? Bottom line is people figured out Rex's defense. They weren't getting turnovers or stopping teams. Hey but if you were happy with the "6th ranked" defense, then good for you.
Extending mo reaching beyond one year, so no. Harris is the leader of our defense, you are way undervaluing him. There were about 8 teams lined up to bring him in for visits. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You are 100% right. Points allowed, turnovers created, 3rd down percentage and red zone percentage are far better indicators when evaluating a defense. Yards per game is nothing more than a joke.
So when the jets win under Rex, he gets all the credit; When they suck for four seasons in a row also under Rex, it's not Rex'a fault, it's on the QB. Got it--thanks for clearing that up.
Maybe you should do a little research (and when I say research I don't mean masturbate for four hours and then tie a rope around your nuts), because there is no way in hell that the Jets ranked 6 overall in stats combined. They were 6 overall in yards allowed, that's it.
uhmmm no they were ranked 6th overall there guy Shows how stupid you really are. Thanks for displaying what I already knew.Total defense http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/total/position/defense
Go to that link. You'll notice that as you go down from 1 to 32 the yardage is greater sequentially. That my friend is 6th in yards allowed.
Its net total yards leaders,Its how the National Football League ranks offenses and defenses overall .They aren't ranked by "points allowed" I guess Seatlle doesn't deserve to be the num 1 ranked defense if I go by your philiosphy. You don't figure in the fact of how many times Geno turns the ball over giving the opposing team a short field,3& outs etc that all inflates the Points per game given up
You really are an idiot,Teams are ranked this way on both sides of the ball.Go and call anyone with a brain and ask them who the 6th ranked defense was last year. How are you suppose to judge a defense overall?
