I love these Dexter McDougle's highlights, I think he has a lot of potential. I remember reading somewhere when he was drafted that his stock fell because of his shoulder injury, that he probably would've been a 1st or an early 2nd round pick otherwise. I think he has a legitimate chance of becoming a really good starter for us once Revis and Cro are long gone if he manages to translate his game to the pros.

    Hopefully. :)
IK has shown flashes, Mauldin can be that guy. But Bowles didn't have an edge rusher in Arizona either, he compensates by creating wild blitzing schemes where he blitzes safeties, linebackers, stunts. So that's how he generates pressure, he doesn't rely on a Von Miller to get 20 sacks. David Harris is a great blitzer, so is Demario. I'm excited to see what they'll do in the new scheme.

Why are we talking about Rex? Last I checked, he was coaching a minor league team.

I doubt Darrin Walls makes this team. He has leveled out as a player and there is no added value keeping him around at this point unless Milliner isn't ready to start the season. Provided Marcus Williams continues to progress, don't be surprised to see him move up the depth chart as our #4 corner. He played very well at times last year with zero help on the opposite side of the field or at the safety position. Plus there will be an opportunity next year as Cromartie is basically playing on a year-to-year contract and is not a given to return.

I can see the Jets slow-playing Milliner to the point he is given that IR return designation later in the season. Have no clue what we have with McDougle.

I would PUP Milliner all year so that way we can get a longer look at Williams. Even when healthy Milliner didn't shine (except for the very last game in Miami). He was benched twice by Rex. McDougle is the wildcard because we never got a look at him to evaluate. I see him as a slot guy not big or strong enough to handle the big outside receivers.

I agree and I like him just because unlike Kyle Wilson he can get his head around and track the ball. High charater guy like Brad Smith. So you always want to root for those guys.

I can see why the Jets liked McDougle. He looks like a player to me if he can stay healthy.

I'd love to have the money the U of MD spends on uniforms. IMO their old red and white unis looked the best. Most of their new uniforms are butt ugly, and they ought to keep that hideous, ridiculous state flag off their unis. No offense to MD posters, but I think that is the weirdest flag I've ever seen.
