How are HOF voters going to keep him out of the Hall for something that is undocumented and not tracked such as offside penalties on specific players? I think the things that are keeping him out of the Hall are his perjury conviction and the fact that the NFL didn't officially start acknowledging sack totals until 82, the year after he notched 20.5 sacks
Just paying homage to the greatest Jets defender EVER. I going to move on from the myopia of fixating on "some number" of offsides penalties because I think it's a stupid premise that really shouldn't even be honored with a response.
I stated a similar opinion a while back about our team regarding that season, not even mentioning the SB, and was basically lambasted for it. And I have no interest, and have zero intention of having any interest, in Fantasy Football...Go figure
It's funny how the narrative changed from "he was never injured" to "well he was injured but he played just as bad before the injury as he did after". Just for nothing it makes NO difference if he incurred those penalties as a NT or DT or DE the fact is he incurred those penalties & some of them I am sure turned to into continuations of a drive & also actually scoring plays

The problem with U U R in total denial of the true FACT yes the TRUE FACT. Check the box scores to see how many drives/games lost were involved when JK iincurred a penalty

It's ridiculous, just like saying he averaged 3-5 offsides penalties a game. I can recall ONE game where he had 3 OS penalties. ONCE. But yeah, he averaged 3-5 a game lol. He's a bitter old troll of a man, don't take him seriously. _
I remember Joe doing that. He liked to anticipate the snap. I mean between him Gastineau those OL's were reeling. I doubt some penalties had anything to do with Klecko not being in the HOF. I think it's about Joe having an antagonistic attitude towards the media. Joe was a great football player. Joe was not a good politician
What specific FACTS have you introduced? You've introduced your memories, nothing more. I asked you how many penalties Joe had and you couldn't tell me. But I'm pretty sure this is about you getting attention your football acumen doesn't actually warrant.
He also drew a lot of holding calls. ... and since I'm talking about it, he was held quite a bit of times that were never called.
