Look even Tebow has admitted his game was inferior. And that's why he spent the past two years training with Tom House. But it would have been great in 2012 to see what he could deliver for us. Rex had nothing to lose by playing him. Him and Sparano gave him zero chance to be successful here.

Because 6 of 22 for 60 yards in a game the Broncos lost 7-3 on the last day of the season in his "big" year just screams clutch winner.

Because the Broncos 3 game losing streak at the end of 2011 with Tebow completing 30 of 73 passes with 1 TD and 3 picks while the offense scored 23, 14 and then 3 points over that span just screams clutch winner.

John Elway is a pretty smart guy. If Tim Tebow was half what you say he was Elway would have just gone with the flow. Instead he moved heaven and earth to move Tebow out of town.

But doesn't the guy deserve a chance. And the won-loss record, isn't that what really counts. Plus Elway (and I agree he couldn't stand Tebow-he didn't like his game and he didn't like his fans) signed Peyton Manning. Not much Timmy could do about that.

Shouldn't you be on Eagles forum now, annoying them instead of us?

Nah... IMO it's more of a "praise the lord" crowd.

Look, if you think that Tebow is terrible and hate the guy then what are you afraid of. He's trying out for Philly. Matt Barkley could beat him out. Barkley was a very good college Qb. If he had gone out a year early he'd of been a 1st round draft pick.

how is this thread even occuring?

listen i was all for tebone coming in for sancho, nobody could have done worse than him at that point. but lets not get crazy and think tebone was a real nfl qb at that point or that he is at this point.

and it was one of the most painful things listening to him explain why he didnt play...

These 2 things are not complementary. Most people think he is a terrible QB, but I don't know of anyone who actually hates him.

    Who said anyone is afraid?

Speculation and has nothing to do with TT's sucking at QB.

There's plenty who hate him starting with Merrill Hoge who says don't even give him a tryout.

No idea where any of this comes from.

Just because we think he sucks doesn't mean we're "afraid" of him. What is there to be "afraid" of Lol.

Ever considered that might be because Hoge thinks TT is not a good QB?

If I'm Chip, my only fear would be giving valuable training reps to a non-starter.

    Hardly.

Sanchez is 4-2 in the playoffs, with a QB rating over 90.

Being mismanaged in the regular season by Schitty isn't the players fault.

Last year in 8 starts he completed 64% for an 88 QB rating, 14 TDs vs. 11 picks.

Still more picks than you'd like to see, but solid stats for a starter

    All he does is win.

Surprising that no one wanted this "winner" for basically 2 years.

I mean, all he does is "win".

2012: Mark vs. Tebow? Well, we know the results with Mark. Tebow: we have no idea what would have happened. Who was more talented in practice: Sanchez. Tebow probably was throwing balls over the waterboy's head. In games: don't know. I'll take the question mark over Mark.
