When was the last time you were NFL DROY? When was the last time you made the salary of the President in half the time? when was the last time you had your hands on the wood grain wheel of a Bentley?
No, I literally want to know when was the last time you won the National Football League Defensive Rookie of the Year award. Was it 1981?? Refresh my memory por favor
What does any of the things U want to know have to do with acting at the least like you have some brains? Or do you subscribe to the Forrest Gump way of thinking stupid is as stupid does?
Lawrence Taylor is posing as an "unhappyjetsfan" on TGG? Thats so funny that I could see it being true haha
There are a lot of Lawrence Taylor's in the NFL. Not talent level but general attitude. LB's are born not made.
Question: If somehow Sheldon is suspended for the year, does this year count or does it add another year to his rookie contract?
I believe it pushes the rookie contract out longer. I believe thats what happened to Josh Gordon, he would've been a FA sooner if not for his troubles. [Keep in mind I am not an expert but I did stay at a holiday inn last night. I could be wrong, and maybe one of the experts here will prove that]
I think his contract expires in the same year as it would, with him forfeiting a years salary. However, he does not become a vested vet and therefore becomes a restricted f.a. letting us tender him as we see fit. i could be wrong though
oh that makes sense, I think thats how it played out with Josh Gordon. I dont understand myself how someone could be so stupid. You really only kinda get one shot at a big, guaranteed contract now in the league, right after your rookie contract expires. To mess that up is about as dumb as you can be.
since when are going 143 mph in a police chase, resisting arrest, having a gun in the car, and doing all of this with a 12 year old in the vehicle not a serious offense? right now his official charge is resisting arrest, which can easily change in a hurry.
They woulda charged him already, and no its not a serious offense. Its speeding essentially. Speeding is speeding regardless of who's in the car. In Missouri, they have much bigger issues than people speeding to worry about. This will probably get dismissed or at worse a fine. I think Every one needs to read the probable cause statement and relax a little. You all need to also remember hes only 24. Theres not a person on here who was so mature and didnt make mistakes or do stupid shit at 24 regardless of life situations. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
Case will be dismissed? Hope so but not likely. From my experience as a lawyer cops do not like being taken on 100+ mile pursuits to corral a guy who has a loaded gun in his car that smells like pot. If the state's attorney want the community to vote for him next election, the dismissal of Sheldon's case would not exactly be his watershed case as a prosecutor--this happened in Missouri, not Jersey. Let's at least be realistic about Sheldon's case and not live in an alternative universe.
Let's be realistic and not act like this is a murder trial either. He'll be in court with a courtroom full of other motor vehicle cases. There will be no star witnesses or anything like that, and he had no other arrests on record if I recall. No prosecutor is gonna take this far and you know this. And if you read the complaint it only said they clocked him going at 143, not going 143 to get away from the officer. He got if that interstate and hid. So no if he wasn't willing to give anything other than a resisting arrest and traffic violations, I doubt he'll take it far. I wouldn't be surprised if it's dismissed with community service. They'd probably do that for any first time offender. So let go of the pot and gun nonsense. They don't matter at this point. Sent from my VK700 using Tapatalk
