Were cursed that's the best explanation. The football gods hate us for some reason. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Honestly Owusu was the offensive player ive been looking forward too most this year. Was optimistically hoping he could have a break out year like Cruz who is another talent we got rid of.
You're joking right? Devin Smith Dee Milliner Antonio Allen Hell, Wilkerson tweaking his thigh is worse. Owusu was a fringe player.
Owusu was not a fringe player if you've been following camp. He was going to make the roster. He was running with the first team, bumping Kerley to the second.
sounds par for the course for John Idzik....... but the kid has some skills. hopefully he's ok and has a career, but I sure wouldnt hold my breath
'Ol Leon Hess has a private sit-down with the big man before the season starts so it should get worked out. I heard God is still upset with the prices Leon was charging for regular unleaded.
As much as I'd hate it from a football perspective, if I were owusu I'd be considering whether it's worth playing the game in the long run with that history and an ivy league degree. Concussions are no joke when they've occurred that often, especially when looking at the potential implications for the rest of his life. Here I'm NZ we had a very promising rugby player go into retirement because of concussions. From what I've read he still suffers symptoms from it all.
This is from just a couple days ago. Owusu talking about how he's finally healthy and ready to move on. Bummer. http://www.newsday.com/sports/footb...ess-slowed-by-concussion-protocols-1.10721988
I think he should keep playing....like you say, he's Ivy League, which means he has a lot of extra brain cells he can kill off and still be semi-normal.
Oof, hate to break it to you but he got hurt last night too. Hamstring. "During practice, a few more Jets came off the field and didn’t return, they were receivers Walter Powell (groin, hamstring) and T.J. Graham (hamstring), running back Zac Stacy (unknown) and tight end Steven Maneri (unknown)."
