The Jets have had trouble winning games against strong defensive teams under Rex. Houston is a top 5 defense, arguably #2 behind Seattle. Their defense could easily score 14 pts against the Jets (more if geNO was starting) and if their offense can manage 1 TD or 2 FG's that could be enough. I'd love for this regime to shed the Jets soft reputation on O and I think Hou is beatable but I want to see how this offense performs under Gailey / Fitz first before considering that for the win column.

First Geno was leading the Jets to the promised land and now Fitzpatrick. It must suck to be a fan of a team like Green Bay knowing you're stuck with Rodgers every year. No excitement about which QB is going to have a hall of fame season.

Yea, that "sucky" defense led the NFL in turnovers last year.

That defense this year will be easily top 5.

Well when you play the Titans and Jags twice a year with two rookies, youre bound to have a few outliers.

Plus winning the AFCE may be the only path to the POs. All 4 teams in our division are pretty good and going to beat each other up. We could all finish 8-8

Plus the Brown's HC was the Jets DC that ripped Fitz a new a-hole twice a year.

Plenty of teams were....Bills won like 7 in a row at that point. Problem with the Bill is they couldn't stop a nose bleed and gave up 35-40 pts/gm. So even games where they dominated offensively, they lost. Kinda reverse of the Jets with a dominate defense holding teams to 6 points, then losing 5-6.

Let's be real Mike Petine held Rex's jock while he was DC. Rex called the shots.

Valid point. But their D was always garbage under Gailey, Crapchez used to light them up (other than the 5 INT game)

We have the potential to be a 11-5 team and I think that could clinch the division. HOWEVER, potential is not concrete! I see this team as a 7-9 to 9-7 team realistically.
