Let the scapegoating in Buffalo begin. Doug Whaley is doomed. He'll become the third GM Rex gets fired. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/09/01/report-bills-g-m-went-rogue-in-cutting-fred-jackson/ Report: Bills G.M. “went rogue” in cutting Fred Jackson Posted by Mike Florio on September 1, 2015, 10:15 PM EDT As the Bills move on from running back Fred Jackson, it’s possible that the move resulted from the actions of one specific person in the organization. Citing two unnamed sources, Tim Graham of the Buffalo News reports that Bills G.M. Doug Whaley “went rogue” in cutting the veteran tailback. As a source with knowledge of the situation explained it to PFT on Monday, it’s believed Whaley had wanted to cut Jackson since March, and that Whaley preferred Bryce Brown to Jackson. As PFT reported on Wednesday, Jackson would have “done anything” to stay with the team, but he never got the chance to take a pay cut or to make other concessions. Graham says that the team will remain unified in any public comments on the situation. Privately, however, it’s hard not to wonder whether Whaley may have put even more pressure on himself by taking matters with Jackson into his own hands.
Those were based off premature tweets by Tim graham, who is a known baseless shit-stirrer. Tim has since been proven wrong by other reporters and has backtracked off those initial tweets like a dog with its tail between his legs. Report not accurate. Move on
And Jackon's comments today, were they wrong too? They were on camera so I guess not. "There's only one person in that organization that I haven't gotten honesty from, and that was [Whaley]," Jackson told the newspaper.
Look at his string of tweets and look at the other reporters tweets. It's not hard to do, and I'm certainly not going to waste my time collecting them for you. If you want to know, use the google, or use the Twitter, or use the internets.
Well you're a Bills fan wasting our time so the impetus is on you to provide evidence of your assertion. Otherwise whatever you are claiming is bullshit. Just sayin. _
Very true but in this instance you could redeem yourself. Personally I don't care, but when you talk about wasting YOUR time, well, you're on a Jets board and you're pretty much wasting our time. _
How am I wasting your time by posting in a thread about the bills? I'm contributing what I know to the thread.
The timing of his release was very weird. Especially with the news that McCoy might not be ready for Week 1. Gotta think the team didnt just get that news after releasing FJax.
its like its following him. its almost hilarious to read about unnamed sources that are somewhere near rex. its like cancer with him. i wonder if manish is heading up there for some easy work. sadly most of the folks in western ny cant read so nobody will care what he writes anyway.
